C-172
Dash-8 Q-400
DC-9
EMB-195
CRJ 700/900
MD-80/88/90
737-400
737-600/700/800/900
A319/320/321
747-400
757-300
767 *possibly*
777-200LR

Pretty much the usual suspects. Never been on anything really out of the ordinary, unless you consider the 737-600 to be rare.

Jocki1999, I take it you're not a native English speaker. Just so you know, in some English speaking countries "been with" is often used as a euphemism for "had sex with". So in other words your thread title kind of sounds like "planes you have had sex with". :) But I know you actually meant "planes you have flown on".

But anyway, here's my list. I'll organize it by manufacturer.

A319 -- United, Delta
A320 -- United, Northwest, JetBlue, Delta
A321 -- JetStar
A330-200 -- Brussels Airlines
A330-300 -- SAS, Lufthansa
A340-300 -- SAS
A380-800 -- Lufthansa

737-300 -- Southwest, United, Continental
737-400 -- Alaska, Xtra Airways
737-500 -- Continental, United
737-600 -- SAS
737-700 -- Southwest
737-800 -- Continental, Delta, United, American, Qantas, Sun Country, Ethiopian
737-900 -- Continental
747-400 -- Lufthansa, Qantas
757-200 -- United, Delta, Continental
757-300 -- Delta
767-200 -- Continental
767-300 -- Delta
777-200 -- United, American

BAe-146 -- Air Wisconsin

CRJ-200 -- ASA (Delta Connection), SkyWest (United Express and American Eagle), Mesa (United Express), Pinnacle (Northwest Airlink/Delta Connection)
CRJ-700 -- SkyWest (United Express and Delta Connection), Mesa (United Express), GoJets (United Express)

Cessna 208 -- Auric Air

De Havilland DHC-2 Beaver -- Cordova Air Service

EMB-120 -- SkyWest (United Express)
ERJ-135 -- Intel shuttle
ERJ-140 -- American Eagle
ERJ-145 -- ExpressJet (Continental Express), Intel shuttle
E-170 -- Shuttle America (United Express), Estonian Air
E-175 -- Compass (Delta Connection)

MD-83 -- Alaska
MD-88 -- Delta
MD-90 -- Delta

Piper Navajo -- Denali Air Tours

Saab 340 -- Mesaba (Northwest Airlink)

I think that's all of them.

Here's mine, from smallest to biggest.

Cessna 172
Saab 340b (Aerolitoral)
e145 (AEagle)
CR7 (United Xp)
CR9 (AEagle, LUA)
737-500 (Lufthansa)
737-700 (United, Southwest)
737-800 (United, Sun Country)
a320 (United, Mexicana, Lufthansa, Spirit)
a321 (Lufthansa)
MD80/83 (American, World Atlantic)
757-200 (Aeromexico)
777-200 (United, exCO)
747-400 (Lufthansa)

Think that's all of them... the most common I've flown is Southwest's 737-700. Wish I could add some more MDC and 757s to the list....

In order from memory (or my FlightMemory):

MD-80 on AA
737-700 on AS (or whatever ran SFO-SJD in 2000), WS and WN
747-400 on VS, NZ, UA (first and only time flying J, which was a free upgrade) and JL
737-800 on FR, CO (I suspect an 800 anyway, dating to 2002 on SFO-IAH-MCO and back), WN, DY and TO
737-300 on UA (Shuttle), GO, NZ, QF (Jetconnect) and WN
EMB-120 on OO/UAX
ATR 42 on MQ (or whatever ran LAX-SAN)
A320-200 on B6, NZ, VX, SK, LX and BA
767-200ER on AA
777-200ER on AA
767-300ER on DL and UA
757-200 on UA
Q400 on QX
CRJ900 on JP
A319-100 on OU, DS and U2
787-8 on DY
787-9 on DY

And in 2½ weeks, the A321neo on VX!

All that's missing from memory are some TATL flights (presumably on AA) that'd be between the first MD-80 and the first 737-700.

Re: Planes you have been with

Thu Jul 27, 2017 8:26 pm

I only like to fly regular service, no "fun" nerd charter. My list is in my signature. You can't have them all especially since I am in my early 30ies, for many planes I never had a fair chance. Planes I regret not to have flown on (so far) by priority:

Tu-144 (I know a person that flew)
Shanghai Y-10 (there seemed to have been commercial flights)
Concorde
Be-32
Let-610 (seemed to have been in SU trials, like the Be-32, bookable)
All Tridents
Mercure
An-10
VFW614
DC-9-15
IL14
(Romaero) Bac111
L-188
Caravelle
Fokke Wulf Condor
Herald
Trislander
Metroliner
Sorts 330 and 360
741Domestic
744Domestic
721
731
F27
F28
hs748

And many others...

My favourite plane is the Tu134, widebody is IL86, prop would be An-24.

I also loved the 707, old 747s, A300s, L1011.

I dislike the Ejets, find A320s and 737 disgusting and don't even fly on those for free any more, since it's a waste of time and fun. I take every Fokker 70/100 that is left, find the E145s funny, and like CRJs. The Superjet is ok, and the Cseries has something to it. Avros are fun...

I have a youtube channel with most of the planes I flew on, especially lots of russian stuff. youtube.com/planesafari

So I don't count each variant (because I honestly can't remember the good majority), so I just go by major revision:

Boeing
  • Boeing 707 - Saha Airlines
  • Boeing 717 - Qantaslink, Jetstar, Bangkok Airlines
  • Boeing 727 - Iran Air I think. Was definitely in Iran circa 2005.
  • Boeing 737 - Countless. Virgin Australia was most recent. Surinam Airlines coming up.
  • Boeing 747 - Again countless. Korean -400 was most recent. Lufthansa -8I coming up.
  • Boeing 757 - NEVER. An booked on an Air Astana A320 later this year, really hoping it gets swapped out.
  • Boeing 767 - Qantas, Hawaiian, Air New Zealand, among others
  • Boeing 777 - Countless. Virgin Australia, Thai, Emirates, Qatar, Air France, Scoot
  • Boeing 787 - Royal Brunei, Jetstar. Air India & Air New Zealand coming up.

Airbus
  • Airbus A300 - Korean Air
  • Airbus A310 - Thai Airways (final flight I think, when I was a kid).
  • Airbus A318 - NEVER. In Brazil this year, but can't find the Avianca routes.
  • Airbus A319 - Multiple but can't recall any. Such a bland aircraft. Booked on TAP Portugal later this year.
  • Airbus A320 - Countless. Jetstar most recent.
  • Airbus A321 - Qatar and several others, but so hard to remember
  • Airbus A330 - Countless. Qantas or Sri Lankan probably most recent.
  • Airbus A340 - NEVER - Hoping to get on an SAA A340-600 next year.
  • Airbus A350 - Qatar
  • Airbus A380 - NEVER. - Booked business class Lufthansa this year.

Others
  • MD-80 - American Airlines
  • MD-11 - KLM
  • Fokker 100 - Alliance
  • BAe-146 - Qantaslink
  • Plenty of others I can't recall.
