Spotting at TGU

Fri Jul 14, 2017 1:56 am

Has anyone gone spotting at Toncontin? I can't find much (if any) information online about good vantage points, and how to access them from the airport.

Thanks!

I am not a spotter per se but I do live in TGU, I would recommend you the highway nearby the at the southern side of runway02 threshold, there you will be directly under the final approach so you can get some frontal and under shots without a problem. If you want lateral shots it's better you go by the highway running in parallel to the runway, there shouldn't be any problem from there.
