Cheapest place to enter the United States from Europe (preferably London)

Mon Jul 10, 2017 4:11 am

Hey guys, thinking of heading to the States in December 2017so wanted to enquire if there's any specific destination pair between Europe and United States known to have the lowest fares?

I'd say try out the various destinations Norwegian serves from Gatwick, there's always something cheap between them. Also you might want to check out their flights to secondary airports such as Stewart or Providence. These flights don't depart from London but from Edinburgh, Dublin and Cork. Usually flights from Dublin are the cheapest, and Dublin is cheap and easy to get to on Ryanair.

Check also WOW Air and Thomas Cook UK, another option is Eurowings - but unfortunately from Cologne/Germany or LEVEL from Barcelona!

I'd suggest Ireland to PVD on Norwegian - cheap flights, and close to Boston which is a lovely city.

BDL from DUB on Aer Lingus and BDL from EDI on Norwegian. Good deals. Airport sits equi-distance between Boston and New York.....about 120 miles from either.

well, from LON , its gotta be Orlando, right? But the real question is where do you intend to go or see in the US, cuz you could spend a whole lot more moving around in the US than simply arriving from Europe rendering the spirit of your question moot......**

***Edit - gotta laugh at myself, somehow I forgot NYC existed :) - clearly, that's the cheapest possible destination from LON, but only barely and Orlando is generally more pleasant than NYC in December.... but maybe that's not what you're looking for?

Go from Ireland (Dublin and Cork) or Belfast with Norwegian to Providence. The fares are extremely cheap, and there is no longhaul APD to pay on any of these routes.

you forgot to quote "in December", obviously referring to the weather. There's a reason why Florida is thick with north Europeans in the winter.
