Airlines which don't sell tickets to their own hub?

Fri Apr 21, 2017 4:59 am

Turkmenistan airlines is one which doesn't offers tickets from Amritsar to its own hub - Ashgabat. Though you can choose from BHX, LHR, CDG & FRA. Is there any other such airline?

Air Wisconsin is one that comes to mind. They are headquartered in ATW (Appleton, WI), but they no longer fly there, nor any other city in Wisconsin, besides MKE. It remains to be seen if they will return to flying to ATW and other Midwestern cities that made up their historic route structure when their United Express flying starts this summer.
Flown on: Air Wisconsin, America West, American, Compass, Delta, Endeavor Air, Envoy, ExpressJet, Mesa, Mesaba, Midwest Express, Northwest, Piedmont, Pinnacle, PSA, Skyway, SkyWest, United, US Airways

@Ansabhi I am not sure about this, but I guess you can book flights from Amritsar to Ashgabat, just not using the online travel agency you indicate in the post.
Maybe you can call the Amritsar local T5 agency to check if tickets to ASB are available.

I don't understand this very well.

Volotea is headquartered in Barcelona but they don't fly to BCN or anywhere in the region.

Not sure if this is the kind of thing the OP had in mind. Hubs and headquarters are different animals!
