First Class on AS E175

Thu Mar 09, 2017 9:35 pm

We are booked on AS3423 MKE-SEA on April 14 in the front cabin on a Skywest E175. It is listed as a dinner flight. How will onboard service (both hard and soft product) differ from that on a 737 flight of similar length?

That's a great question because I actually booked a first class ticket round trip from MCI-PDX and back this coming May on an Alaska E175 operated by Skywest and I would be curious to know this myself. I wonder if the meal service and whatnot is done through Alaska or Skywest? As for the hard product, I don't think it's that different than on an AS 737. The AS 737's have no built in IFE or anything like that so it really would come down to differences in the seats and most domestic first class seats are pretty much the same. In my case the upgrade to first class was not that much more expensive than an economy fare so I decided to splurge. Hopefully it's worth it!
