Also, according to the production list, MSN 94, OZ 1 is now painted, so we can hope to see a picture. I quite like the livery of Asiana, so am looking forward to seeing it...

D-AIXB is flying LH762 to DEL ; D-AIXA went tech or is it another problem not related with the plane ?

According to the spreadsheet everyone knows and loves, MSN 69 has moved to the flightline, however has not been painted. From my understanding, all A350s get painted before having engines installed, so is this aircraft actually at the flight line? Or has it been painted and it just wasn't marked?

I believe it's typo, it was moved to paint hanger several weeks ago.

BAQ looks ideal hot, humid and 3000 metres of tarmac ....nice location! Encouraging the progress being made and hope MSN59 will be back soon ....assume tail skid being removed after VMU very successful tests last week.

They must be approaching the flutter testing. That is always a good one to get out of the way.

Three other easily identifiable tests that are yet to complete are noise, water ingression and Maximum Take Off weight RTO.

One would hope they were done with flutter (unless there is an issue). It's generally one of the first boxes checked off and looking at the chart KarelXWB provided, MSN059 would have been the flutter airplane and they were looking at "A/C Aero Configuration Freeze" less than halfway through its initial development phase which should be close to or complete by now.

Given AB have announced VMU, cold conditions and high altitude test success it would seem nautral to have confirmed the flutter test phase. Suspect this is the next main task for MSN59?

AB are normally good at producing videos of key stages such as flutter which I why I presumed it was not yet complete. You may be right.

MSN 97 (Finnair #8) just returned from a second test flight. MSNs 85 (CX), 91 (TX) and 97 (AY) should all be at the delivery center next week getting ready for delivery. Also despite rumours to the contrary, MSN 69 (QR) has yet to appear on the flightline although it, MSN 93 (CX) and MSN 99 (SQ) should all make their way down there shortly as room is made from the frames transferred to the delivery center.

I suspect that 59 was having the tail skid removed and the structure checked. Not really a week off.

Only a few paint hangars are capable of painting a sole tail fin. Due to the higher production rate, less and less tails will be painted prior to final assembly.

On the A350 production website I want to clarify a few things.

- Are Beijing Capital Airlines A350 customers and if they are will they take their first as MSN 98
- Is Azul not taking up any of their A350's as they are now listed to be delivered to Hong Kong Airlines? (MSN 112, 125 & 153 etc)

This is something I have just wanted to know if it is indeed true. Thanks

Azul is not taking the A350s and word is on the street that HNA Group will take all 5 A350s. Some of those aircraft may be distributed to their subsidiaries, like Hong Kong Airlines and Capital Airlines.
