Upcoming key business milestones come from the introduction of MSN 216 wing twist MOD, Rate 13 ramp up and a Wing equipping of the future project

So sounds like the updated wing twist on the -900 will start from MSN 216. Thanks for sharing. Have been wondering when this will be introduced.
Are parts for this frame already in production?

Is this a fact or just speculation? I ask because the ULR does not need a wing twist for the extra fuel tankage (the increase is all in the center tank), so if the first ULR is MSN 216, it's probably just a coincidence that Airbus is integrating the twist with that MSN.

The unofficial a350 production list says it is so take it for what its worth. The twist appears to be part of the fuel burn reduction that comes with the ULR...part of it is the engine and the balance is from aero improvement.

I would expect all A350-900s after MSN 216 to get the wing twist and engine improvements, not just the ULRs for SQ.

I remember reading that the normal a350's get these changes along with the 280t weight increase sometime in 2019 or 2020

This is probably an odd question, but what exactly is the wing twist without getting too technical? Do they change the fuselage/wingbox mating to twist the wing, or is the wing different? This might be a tech-op question.

They change the wing. The wing could be changed differently on different parts of the wing.

Going for engine fit?

Or cabin fit, unless that's already been done? Does a fully painted bird necessarily mean that the cabin has been installed also?

For Boeing, it does not. I've seen them install seats on both unpainted and fully-painted birds. I expect it is the same with Airbus.

Partly. MSN 88 was in cabin fit for ~ 2 months. Plane is now back at Station 20 to finish up the cabin.

So cabin fit should be complete. So it's either leaving Station 20 after completion or going for engines.

That's not how it works.

More likely we will be seeing another 7 deliveries in October and November each, and a big delivery push of 15+ aircraft in December.

Airbus managed 10 deliveries this month (https://sites.google.com/site/a350xwbpr ... deliveries) so another 30 in 3 months would appear possible. Don't forget there are 3 airframes (MSN 52, 55 and 60) the NTU SriLankan Airlines that are due to go to Sichuan Airlines, would be nice to know progress there. Also several Qatar Airways airframes that are awaiting correctly orientated carpet fibres ;-) that are also due delivery some time, you never know, Airbus might just break the 80 airframes for the year.

Presumably the fibres are aligned to point to Mecca. Err..... just realized that's in Saudi Arabia i.e. in enemy territory, so maybe the fibres are now being aligned the other way. Realigning the fibres could well be the reason for some of the Qatar delivery delays

Don’t know if Airbus will count either of the QR frames at the delivery centre as delivered. Putting those aside, I make it 49 so far in 2017 with 6 in August. The spreadsheet counts three frames in September that Airbus counted as August. MSNs 52 and 55 were counted as 2017 by Airbus. Latest Airbus forecast for 2017 deliveries , as I recall, was ‘nearly a 100’, which looks very challenging.

There is so much wrong with this post, I don't even know where to begin.

- So far 50 aircraft have been delivered, without the QR aircraft at the delivery centre.
- Delivery sheet shows 7 deliveries in August, not 6.
- MSN 52 and 55 were counted as 2016 by Airbus, not 2017.
