When I look at flightradar, I also see another mysterious "QTR3350" just taking off... It is not marked as an A350 (unknown plane) though, and there is no immat. Second delivery ?

So with these two now gone from TLS, what's the status of the remaining QR 359's overdue for delivery ?
Sorry, I've not kept up...

MSN63 just moved to DC today. MSN78 had 3 flights so far, still at flight line. MSN90 completed its RTO several days ago, still not fully painted.

F-WZHF = MSN 168 HX #3.

The other one, F-WZNZ, is MSN 158 SQ #19.

You seem to be mixing up a few things. QR canceled 4 aircraft that have been built already (MSN 63/78/90/100). Now both parties agreed to deliver those aircraft. The order book doesn't have to be updated to account those 4 aircraft.

Sorry to have confused you over this. When QR first cancelled four frames it was understood this was for four of the already built and long delayed frames.
It is now apparent that those frames are being delivered after all. The outstanding question is whether the cancellation, which was recorded in the orderbook, stands or as some had supposed, gets reversed. As of the 6h October Airbus update, the cancellation stands and QR has a total of 76 A350s delivered or on order, rather than the previous 80.

How did the much delayed and problematic B787 get to 600 deliveries vs around 120 A350s?

I thought they were conceived around the same time.Just interested.

A350 went through total design change so it's production started like 2-4 years later than planned.

So did the 787. It too was five years late. Both were launched around 2004 - 2006. Why the disparity?

actually more like 2003 vs 2006.
( how to count the sonic cruiser design phase ( ?1999 onwards? ) in this ? )

$30b+++++++++++++++ in outlay.
industry worst introduction vs industry best introduction in recent times.
massive late redesign vs minimal changes.
...

but
787 built but not deliverable without changes frames continued to accumulate early
and again were accumulated during the ground phase.
That stash of expensive toys let the ramp up after EIS appear faster than it really was.

PS: any money in bringing up some misrepresentations again and again and again?

It is needed for ETOPS approval, which I'm sure operators would appreciate having right from the start.

I wonder if it will be as extensive as her older sister involving a RTW and 14 cities? Given the exemplary EIS of her sister probably not really required to be as exacting yet a great PR opportunity if well handled! Aside from route trials are there any other certification hurdles to be completed?

Compared to the -900, I do not see much information on the -1000 testing. In particular, the google spreadsheet had pretty complete tables and charts for the -900, but data on the -1000 stop very early in the testing campaign. I am not sure whether it is because data was not made public, or just because the -1000 testing campaign is less interesting to watch and document. Also, I did not see many articles about it.

Is there an up-to-date source for the -1000 testing campaign ?

And behind we can see MSN 145 MK #1 with its final registration too.

Of course it wouldn’t. A359 was the first variant of a completely brand new design. It should get all the attention.

Just like how we used to track the developments of A320neo more closely than we did with the A321neo, or 788 vs 78J.
