AF498 landing reasonably soon (next 10-20 minutes) if anyone wants to watch, just heard them call into the tower.

There are two places for sound, bottom left, you will see a little speaker sign you can mute/unmute and increase sound.

Top left just above the actual video link, there is a link that will say ATC OFF, normally, click around there and you will get the same option to turn on and increase sound.

Works for me anyway.

To all, best I would say is that we go to their site and express our gratitude, you know the old saying, everyone thought someone would say something ........

Hey, I am in the Bahamas and we have some great areas for spotting around our airport but nothing compared to this.
We closed down our airport on Paradise Island year ago, Dash-7's only but the arrival down the harbour and over the bridge was spectacular.

I agree with all the other posters, I have stopped working because of this, job well done.

Cameraman doesn't seem to pan for arrivals...left or right
Quoting RTW00 (Reply 20):

Great cam. Hope the person who manages it zooms and pans on arrival as well.

Someone's been reading this site - I'm finding the cameraman (or camerawoman - we don't know) is panning more frequently for arrivals, albeit for larger aircraft or widebodies.

liveatc.net has a statio for TNCM too so it's nice to get coverage of all the frequencies.

Hello all,

When first brought to our attention by @william, noticed the people on the stream counter was in the 800 at the highest. Yesterday it came close to 2000. So I would say the word got out. I wonder how high the daily count will get??

Also yesterday, I saw the "cam pilot" truly pan left and catch a 737 landing and held on it all the way to roll out. The future looks bright. Also saw them zooming at peeps on the beach.

A focusing test maybe??LOL

I was checking this out again today, and will do so again tomorrow. Thanks for posting!

Quick question...I noticed for Tuesday KL 785 arrives AMS-SXM and then goes to CUR, flying in a triangle route. How long has this route existed, going from Sint Maarten to Curacao, and can you buy a one-way ticket between the two islands?

Thanks!

This site has an incredible amount of trackers associated with it. It will not work for me unless ads and trackers are allowed in Chrome on Linux and Windows. Ghostery showed 62 trackers at work. It would nice to know which to specifically allow.

edit: it works to disable tracker and ad blocking until the page is loaded and then resume blocking. If not, the trackers just keep on coming, amazing really.

I'd like to know what kind of camera they have, great zoom.

In the last minute I just watched the AF A340 land at SXM. It is working fine...haven't had an issue any time I've looked...I even check in in the middle of the night sometimes just to hear the waves. So lucky I was able to visit there!

Does the sound match up for anyone? I can't get sound to line up properly in any setting. You hear the plane takeoff then finally see it actually do it like 30 seconds later.

Are you running any ad or script blockers? The website has about 100 third-party scripts running, and they ALL have to run before the camera will display, so anything like Adblock or NoScript, or even moderate security settings in IE will block it.

Wrong angle but better than nothing. Would be awesome to see a cam at the end of the runway so you see planes approach from afar rather than just getting 2 seconds of a plane passing the airport road.

You'd think A.net is behind the web design with all the ads.

Because of the time zone difference I usually miss out on all the action, but, I finally was awake at the right time to see my first 'web-cam' landing a few days ago - it was a 727!

There's been a J2 (Azal Azerbaijan) A345 parked at SXM for the better part of the week. Well, it's not staying for much longer. It has just pushed back - although it appears they're only now loading cargo and luggage containers

I guess it's been conducting a "government" flight (ie. taking members of the ruling family on holiday).

Personally allowing just Google Adsense was enough to make it work. I don't disable everything per default though, just ads and beacons.

Yeah, I watched the J2 flight being loaded and then departing. Was surprised to see its one of 5 A345s active in the world.

FR24 zoomed straight in to Saint Martin!

Thanks for the link! I swear I spent an hour watching a little boy, maybe 2 years old! He would run from the little waves. Made me smile from ear to ear. That beach looks amazing. It's definitely on my bucket list! Can anyone suggest accommodations for a visit? Any all inclusive places nearby that beach? I could easily find myself spending a majority of my visit on that beach, and frequently refreshing my thirst at that bar.
