That and I believe PW is starting to resolve problems with their GTF meaning engines can be supplied faster. Karel will correct this if I'm wrong.

Regarding the new door configuration of the A321neo:

In addition to these cabin features on the main deck, the A321 “ACF” model also brings more flexibility in the ‘underfloor’ cargo area where a third “Auxiliary Centre Tank” (ACT) can now be installed. Previously, the A321 offered the provision for up to two ACTs the size of a cargo container. Combined with the increased MTOW of 97 metric tonnes, the third ACT adds a further 400 nautical miles of range making this variant of the A321neo the longest range single-aisle airliner in production known as the A321LR.

Airplanes are designed so they can evacuated in <90 seconds with half of all exit doors blocked. That is why a 2 pairs of overwing exits are added when L/R 2 is deleted.

Thanks for the photo, not every jet bringe is able to handle boarding via L2 door, so it is less an issue of the positioning of the door but more an issue about the dimensions and construction of the jet bridge.

So it will be the opposite of today and airlines have to choose to have L2 door.

Per that article, 112 of 399 A320 family were neos back in October. Way behind the initial production ramp (both engines). It is a good thing Airbus oversold the CEO by hundreds of airframes.

Most of the recent deliveries I’ve noticed are with the Leap 1A engines. Is that how production played out or are the GTF issues hanging up production of aircraft equipped with PWs?

BA are set to get 8108 as their first A320Neo in Feb next year. Is this likely to be assembled at TLS or XFW? Also, when are we likely to see it out in the open - January some time?

Think they're getting PW but Wikipedia shows CFM for BA and Iberia and PW for Vueling.

I think BA has not yet chosen the engine.

I think BA has not yet chosen the engine.

IAG Engines

BA is taking CFM. Iberia/Aer Lingus also CFM. Vueling is taking PE.

Also depends on the aircrfat interior configuration.
Lufthansa A321's have a cutout of the overhead bins at door L2 to allow boarding and passengers not bumping their heads when entering.

It is the material used. The fan has a very tight clearance. That material allows slight rubbing between it and the fan.

Yes TLS does outfitting of A320 and the fourth line in XFW is operating.

Looking at an older picture, I get the impression that their livery was slightly tweaked some time.

In this photo the lower blue line seems thicker and the white between the blue lines narrower than it is on the 320neo shown above.

Not that it changes much, but it seems something was done. Or is it just perspective related?
