With so many stops the tour is a success already. And of course now the sales teams need to do their work in trying to convince the possible customers to buy A350's, preferably in huge quantities.

Well, MSN5 visited customers that already have A350 on order (Vietnam, Asiana and Japan Airlines). The only exception was the visit to Korean Air.

It's been a while since a new frame entered the FAL, problems or something else?

Isn't is about time the first Finnair A350 enters final assembly?

A350 training wins industry approval

Quoting Flightglobal:
Toulouse, France-based Airbus Training will see its revolutionary “learning by
discovery” pilot and engineer type-rating training system put to the test for the
first time next month as Airbus A350 launch customer Qatar Airways prepares to
put its aircraft into service.

Director of A350 flight operations and training support for Airbus, Christian Norden,
says customer feedback from all the early A350 buyers has so far been unanimously
enthusiastic, as has the reaction of the national aviation authorities. Meanwhile the
EASA and the US Federal Aviation Administration have accepted the A350 as a
variant of the A330 series, thus according it a common type rating.

I don't think there is a delay, the plan was to deliver '1 or 2' A350s in 2014.

Man. As much as I like new A/C, I cannot bring myself to like that wing. It looks outdated compared to the raked wings of the B748, 788 and upcoming 77X. Not an A vs B preference, but that look does not appeal to me

Aesthetically A350 looks the most stylish and modern to me and the only distinguishable feature, can you clariyf your point? Granted you are commenting 2 pictures where the wing is in parallel line so not that visible.. People talk about 787 wings but I just don't see it, probably because of the low ground clearance and the wings struggling to hold the engines.

What I find interesting is the lack of flap angle when set at full deployment. The above poster of the pics has a pic of the a350 landing and the flaps deployment is rather shallow. The wing looks cleaner compared to older aircraft in landing configuration. Just an interesting observation.

Nothing like seeing those massive Fowler flaps in full extension.

Qatar Airways will be the first airline to take delivery of the A351 in 2017. Frankly it doesn't matter who ordered first, the first airline launching the thing literally into service is far more important. Even QR call themselves launch customer of the type.
