It happens all the time? No need for all caps for something that is a daily occurrence for flights to divert.

Beware of the ALL CAPS police..... :?

Must have been something fairly significant since DL27 (N501DN) had almost made it to Hudson Bay before turning around and heading south to MSP. A/C arrived MSP 03:36. Still on the ground at MSP and not scheduled to depart to ICN until 15:45 this afternoon (Friday)
Direct KNOBS, maintain 2700' until established on the localizer, cleared ILS runway 26 left approach.

It's not about someone's age. If they divert due to medical its usually because they are in pain. Another few hours could be beyond cruel.

So it DL operating a special sector of MSP-ICN on the A359 so the return flight can operate or is the load light enough that passengers can be accommodated on the existing MSP-ICN service (DL171) and return flight passengers rebooked via DTW or MSP!?

Faulty deicing sensor. Sensor fixed and then crew timed out.

That's the downside to having one-offs. Since the A350 doesn't fly regularly from MSP they either have to fly in a crew or wait until the crew comes off rest.
Remind me to send a thank you note to Mr. Boeing.
