AC95 EZE-YYZ returns to EZE, flight cancelled

Sat Feb 23, 2019 7:33 pm

Today's AC95, 787-9 C-FKSV, returned to EZE while enroute to YYZ. Some sources say it was a medical emergency, others say it was tech-related. Continuation of flight was cancelled. Flight was already operating with a 3-hour delay.

There are plenty of folks who find this information interesting. Not one of them? Don't click on it and move on. No need to make a statement about it.

The original delay was due to a return to gate for technical reasons. The airborne return was for a medical emergency. Looks like the flight is delayed to 8am on the 24th, operating as AC2095

With the AC 787 fleet as tight as it is, doubtless this delay will cause a few headaches with the scheduling folks back home!

I personally find these threads interesting. I think what brings people out is that there was no question asked. It was alluded to but nothing was specifically asked. Was the OP just letting people know? Did they want to know exactly what happened? Did they want to know exactly what part broke? So people want to know what this discussion thread is discussing. I think that is why people get upset/annoyed and post statements.

THIS!

If people don’t find something newsworthy or interesting, fine, move on. But people that feel the need to question why someone posted something aviation related on an aviation thread (gasp!) drive me nuts.

Fair enough. I thought the question was implicit and indeed, someone provided the answer.
