Today morning, Flydubai has announced that it has acheived a profit of AED 157 million or USD 43 million as it has reduced its losses from and was driven by the yield and revenue growth. Revenue has reached AED 6.2 billion (USD 1.7 billion) compared to AED 5.5 billion (USD 1.5 billion) in 2017.
operating costs: AED 411 million (USD 112 million). Fuel costs were 29.8% of total annual operating costs; compared to 25% for the same period as last year.
Passengers handled: 11million
Yield: an increase of 8.4% over last year.
RPK growth: 3.8%, ASK: 30,167m
Ancillary revenue: contributed 9.4% of revenue compared to 11.9% last year.
Fleet: took delivery of seven Boeing 737 MAX 8 and MAX 9. 4 B738s were phased out. in 2019, three Boeing 737 MAX 9 aircraft will join the fleet along with 7 MAX 8s. and 9 B738s will be phased out.

I am seeing on news channels that FlyDubai have lost more than $40M for the full year 2018, can you confirm that?
