Avianca Honduras Ceased Domestic Operations

Fri Nov 09, 2018 3:41 am

Apparently AV Honduras ceased all domestic ops last Sunday (October 28th), and are now solely flying international destinations. AV Honduras connected Tegucigalpa, San Pedro Sula and Roatán on ATR 72-6 equipment. Those destinations are still operational however they are now being served to/from San Salvador, San Jose and Guatemala. AV Honduras will not cease to exist (for the moment) therefore still retaining their Honduran AOC.

Scratch out the above. Just learned that 3 ATRs are going to Argentina, not 2. and they are: 2 from Avianca Guatemala, TG-TRF(LV-IUA) /TG-TRE and from Avianca Colombia, HK-5039.
