Not sure what this would accomplish as the problem isn't at the entrance. The problem is insufficient roadway capacity at the terminal, and there's no way I can see to fix that problem.
Also it's laughable that the city thinks it can construct a northern entrance for $50 million as a northern entrance would require tunneling under taxiways in order for the roadway to get to the terminal.
Now construction of a people mover that allows arriving and departing pax to board a train to the terminal from a point no where near the existing terminal might make sense. and would go a long way to alleviate airport congestion.
