ERJ145 E2 and EMB120 E2
Ive been wondering if there really is any business case for an improved emb120 and erj145...emb120 E2 and erj145 E2 LOL...There seem to be many airlines which still require these small erj145 jets but they appear to be a bit too costly to operate. I assume they would get a lot of attention from African countries..Would any of those jets stand a chance of becoming successful..feel free to comment and add your own thoughts/research/stats/assumptions..

Even though that link doesn't really answer the question. Raises the point, why is the A.net search for previous posts so difficult. Then the photo search is almost worthless too. The old version while a bit tedious having to scroll down lists in each category you could find most of the nearly 3 mil pictures in the data base. Now you fill in as many boxes as you can and likely get the message "no pictures found"! Airliners.net has really gone downhill the past few years. Ok, I'll get off my soap box now but I had to say it.
In answer to the OP. As the above link makes clear, there really is no market for 50 seat jets at this time (ERJ-145). As for the EMB-120 Brasilia, I think it is out of production, which is too bad. While a small 30 seat turboprop is not marketable to most airlines, there are many parts of the world that could still use that type of aircraft.
