Ok.. I guess even rumored orders with valid sources aren't ok over there. I'll post here then.. I feel like sourced rumors were ok in years past.

Bombardier sends a Delte CRJ900

Embraer has send this E190-E2 with a nice custom paint job on the nose.

Embraer definitely stepping up the game against Bombardier there. Noone cares about that boring Delta livery.

Now that shark on the front of the E2. That is going to get a lot of media attention. I'll venture to say they get their money's worth there.

How about the QR A35K ?
On the production list, I see no QR A35K that is on the flightline or anywhere close to ready to delivery. I guess that means it is just QR that comes and brings one of its own, already delivered, planes. That seems a bit strange to me, as I would expect them to keep their newest and efficient planes in service...

That's fair. I shouldn't speak for others. I partially withdraw my statement.

Still, Embraer is definitely making a splash and will win the popularity contest in the media with that livery.

I'm not saying it will be A7-ANC but this aircraft (#110) was noted at TLS in full QR c/s on 6 July.

Alternatively, QR have had a massive presence at recent Farnborough shows and may be prepared to take an aircraft out of service for a few days for the show.

I am hoping for some major orders this year. I really want the E2 to pick up 100 or so orders to make it viable. I want A220 to do well as well and I can see Ryanair ordering the MAX 10

Seems the show is not complete without this..... :indifferent: .....

With the Italian's withdrawing from the program, things are not looking too rosy for the SSJ100..... :pessimist:

Likewise, Embraer's E175E2 must be waiting for a break in U.S. scope clauses before a prototype makes an appearance (would love to see that shark livery on one). Fortunately, the (now) Airbus A221 may have an easier going itself than before. :optimist:

The point of the Bombardier plane is to display what is inside...a refreshed interior that their engineers have been working hard to bring to market. It's actually a solid interior as Zodiac (the provider of the interior) is working to help sell it as a retrofit. On the Embraer side, Zodiac is already offering retrofit options that exceed the level of improvement set in some of the E2 interior components.

Do you really believe that paint scheme is going to make an airline choose the model? As with most all airshows, airlines know ahead of time what they are going to buy.

Has Zodiac resolved their production issues yet? They have had a pretty disastrous few years.

I think that WN will put in an order for at least 60 additional Boeing 737 MAX 7 planes (in addition to the 30 737 MAX 7 planes already ordered) to replace the oldest 737-700 planes in the WN fleet.

There hasn't been any negative press about them in a while that I'm aware of. Maybe the takeover by SAFRAN has have got things in order.

Gulfstream is also sending at least a G600. I wouldn’t doubt if the G280 also made a trek over.

It's not coming. The Russian state owned manufactures will not be attanding this year because of the diplomatic issues between the UK and Russia.

There are many arms of Zodiac within their interiors groups. Each one has their own strengths and weaknesses. Those who work the CSeries program are not necessarily those who work on CRJ or ERJ. The retrofit team is also a completely separate group. Beyond that, the Safran takeover seems to be having good impacts already. Some of my contacts are feeling very encouraged by it all. The place that really needs help is their Seats organization (a separate company from the interiors groups). They combined the work/operations from two cities into one and the transition is going so poorly. That plus a leadership group that is more interested in deflection rather than owning their issues is certainly not a recipe for success.

Also, ATW just released an article regarding Bombardier's confidence in Zodiac for the Atmosphere interior compared to what was experienced with CSeries.

Will gulfstream have any major announcements? A few posts around here have been bouncing around about potential g750. Or is gulfstream really just focusing on improving their existing products and streamlining production right now? They're going to start seeing competition creeping up from cessna on their lower tier aircraft before long.

QR have the deepest pockets for promoting themselves. Just look at every venue at the World Cup - QR are the main advertiser on the pitch-side billboards. He who pays the piper calls the tunes....

Bangor is a common tech stop for jets making the trip across North America to Europe or vice versa

Really excited about JetsuiteX prospects. I really think everyone running away from 30-50pax planes / routes is leaving opportunities and money on the table for JetsuiteX.

They probably sent advance maintenance teams to BGR rather than Boston and arranged for their Access to the flight line as well. Which might not be so easy at Boston.

Interesting article in the WSJ today about comments made by Airbus at the airshow.

Seems that Airbus is having significant delays delivering the A321neo because of the engine manufacturer: CFM.

I did a double-take. "Don't they mean Pratt?", I asked myself. But they kept saying CFM and LEAP. Huh.

After all the talk on here about Pratt's problems, I did not realize how much trouble Airbus is having getting a reliable supply of working LEAPs.

At the airshow, both Pratt and Airbus claim that Pratt has caught up with its engine supply schedule, and is stockpiling extras. Wow. That's a big turnaround.

It appears that the Pratt customers will be getting their aircraft on time while the LEAP customers won't -- at least in the near future.

Yesterday, CFM executives stated that they believe production of LEAP engines will be back on schedule by the end of 2018.

A multitude of reasons
- Further east
-Lower landing costs (Jet A is $3.71/gallon cheaper in BGR)
-Less competing traffic (not wasting fuel waiting in line to take off)
