In another sign of deepening its partnership with Emirates, Flydubai has announced that it will be operating a selected number of flights from Emirates Terminal 3.
Starting from 02DEC, flights to the following destinations will start operations out of Terminal 3:
Belgrade
Bishkek
Bucharest
Catania
Dushanbe
Helsinki
Krakow
Prague
Rostov-on-Don
Salalah
The airline has revealed that additional flights will be added by summer 2019. Passengers flying with FZ to these destinations will be able to check in for their flights from the Business and Economy check in desks at T3.
I guess those flights see the greatest number of connections from Emirates.

Presumably these have more connecting traffic to/from EK then.

I thought DXB had major slot issues. Surprised they would encourage them to shift these flights to DXB. Oh I guess the slot issues must just be for Indian airlines.

Why would swaps in operating Terminals affect slot times..?

Fly Dubai operates from DXB. It is a change of terminal for a selected number of flights.

Hmm - must not follow aviation much. They are already at DXB. It's simply a terminal change.

DXB has a major slot issue. FlyDubai isn't viable without EK connections. This is accepting EK must cap their growth. This isn't taking from Indian airlines. It is preventing FZ slot/gates transfer to EK.

I expect at least a few of these destinations - apart from PRG (operated already), to be switched over from FZ to EK in the very near future, particularly BEG, OTP, HEL and SLL... and the rest are probably premium traffic heavy and FZ/EK do not want to loose them to competitors with much better facilities than DXB's T2.

Prague is flown already by EK.
Quite uncommon; I can't think of any other destination in Europe that is flown by both Emirates and FlyDubai.

As far as I remember also Kiev was served by both airlines, before Emirates pulled out.
