What type is this?

Sat Jun 30, 2018 10:49 am

The aircraft I saw looked like a Piper Cherokee, but the tail plane was swept forward, rather than swept back.

Seen Kemble 2015.

Any ideas welcomed.

What's up with that anyway? I'm seeing it more and more often. Does the post indicate the client posting time instead of the server or something?

Thanks! On further googling I found that the a/c is now registered (and probably grounded) as XA-LAP. This picture is most probably of that jet chartered by him and those are only vinyls.

That’s basically the issue. Some discussion on the site-related thread about it, but I haven’t checked recently to determine whether there is any progress towards a solution.

Depending on whether I’m posting from a regular broadband or a cell connection, my posts can have time stamps anywhere from 3 to 7 minutes in the “future” (even though the clock on my device is accurate). As a point of reference, I’m posting this at 10:09 am Central Daylight Time. See if the time stamp has the minutes ending in :09, or some time in the future.

that Mooney is a rare one with the Porsche powerplant..Porsche had a very limited unsucessful run with aviation engines in the late 80's...
