Thread for fleet size and widebody in China

Tue Apr 24, 2018 7:03 am

Statistics up to March 31, 2018 show that China has a total of 3,311 aircrafts in commercial service (HK, Macau, Taiwan not included), according to the Chinese report in the link below (I got the charts made based on that report)

8 Chinese airlines each have a fleet with over 100 aircrafts, and a further 13 Chinese carriers have widebodies in their fleet

Also Chinese airlines are expected this year to take delivery of their first batch of the much-anticipated A350s, which got orders from HU, 3U, CA (10 A359s), JD, GS, MU (20 A359s), CZ (20 A359s), etc. It remains to be seen who will be the first Chinese carrier to fly the state-of-the-art jet airliner

Any thoughts or observations there?
