Nothing alarming or abnormal here, but I found both of these clips amusing and thought I'd share. I could find no previous record of either posted previously.
The first, a funny exchange between a Lufthansa 747 and JFK ATC. LH loses an engine, and ATC is mildly flummoxed that captain doesn't declare an emergency. Captain seems flummoxed that ATC doesn't trust three engines the same way he does. The mix of Teutonic and New York is pretty funny, I thought. This happened in Feb:

The second is just a quick parallel dual approach at SFO, Cathay 747 can't keep speed low enough to keep separation with a United 757. SFO orders the 757 to go around. The clip is 5 yrs old, but again, I couldn't find this posted prior on a.net. The really beautiful angle, a top-down 747 hitting the threshold at SFO, happens at the 35sec mark....wait for it, kinda spectacular.
