It's nice to see all the E Jets and RJ's on the South ramp this weekend at ONT for the NASCAR race in Fontana CA..

Oh wow, there is quite a bit of activity there... Apparently there's a lot of ERJ145 flights scheduled to depart to Tulsa, OK: https://flightaware.com/live/findflight/KONT/KTUL

Also lots flying to Amarillo, TX: https://flightaware.com/live/findflight/KONT/KAMA

Yep, those are some good stops for cheap gas. Salina, KS was a favorite of mine.

Looks like three 145s stopped in SLN on their way out to ONT.

Free frozen steaks or bottles of wine! I stopped in the 727 and topped off once and told them if they could just lead the whole cow up the aft airstairs that would be great.

PUB was the same way, we took numerous bottles of wine home in the DC-9 when we stopped there on cargo transcons.

I have a bunch of IOU's from there that are like 10-12 years old lol. We always stopped there Westbound and I didn't want to carry stuff around until we made it back home.

We used to call them the Redneck Air Force back in the day...these flight crews were a nice bunch of folks to deal with, unlike some other private jet pilot types...

They’re all a nice bunch—spent time with Hendrick’s Racing a few years ago.
