Will Delta Retrofit LED Mood Lights on their Widebodies?
With the Suites, Premium Select, and new Economy seats being retrofitted on to Delta’s 777s (followed by their 764s), this could be a great time for Delta to put some energy-efficient LED mood lighting on their currently existing 777, 764, 763, A333, and A332 fleets. Seeing what they did to much of their narrowbody fleet (A319, A320, 738, 752, 753, and MD-88), it doesn’t seem unlikely for them to do the same to their widebodies. Not to mention, the brand new A350s and A330neos do and will feature mood lighting. What is the likelyhood of a retrofit on the currently existing widebodies?
