Your guess is as good as mine about LASA's prognosis. I understand they are very well capitalized; the market, too, has changed from days past.

Yes, although apart for Rio Mayo, they fly to towns others fly to as well.
I still fondly remember my flights on LADE's 707....

Old machine, awfull smell on board, terrible catering (if you could call a tasteless biscuit catering), but it brought us safely to destination.
And the views of the Andes, oh man,...

They fly a FTE-RGL-RGA-USH run with the SAABs, but that is pretty much it. I am not sure how many F28s are still airworthy, or if they have any hours left on them. Not many spares around for those babies anymore. Incidentally, all the 707s have been sold for scrap recently and they have been parted out. If you look for Flybondi pictures operating at EPA you can see the bits and bobs of the 707s in the background.330lover wrote:Man, I do remember a flight with LADE from FTE to BRC on their F70 back in 2010.

Even better: F27s.
All gone too. Last one flew in 2016.

Wow!! Thank you!!
TC-53 carried, by herself, around 5,500 Argentinean soldiers, clocking 1,050 flight hours, to and from the Falkland Islands during the 1982 war. She ended up skidding off the runway during one of her landings at Mount Pleasant, but was patched up and returned to the mainland.

A few comments:
FTE is no longer served by LADE
330lover would gave flown on a F28, probably.
To my knowledge, none of LADE's F28s are airworthy.
As an anecdote, my flights on the 707s were always from EPA. They were announced as being to/from AEP, but we were always bussed to and from EPA, where we went through a VERY rudimentary security control. Interesting aircraft, great crew!

Thanks !
