Official figures for the 12 months are not yet out, however on December 19 the airport served for the first time 10,000,000 passengers. 2017 was also the year when the airport opened Terminal 1B from which long-haul flights operate. The airport also saw the opening of 10 new routes, including 7 new destinations.

10,3 million is number for 2017, that is +7,7% or 800,000+ additional passengers. International traffic represents 67% with a growth of 8,4%, thanks in large part to the low-costs carriers.

I miss the days of the AF regional hub at LYS--- it was such a fast, convenient airport to transfer in!
