That would be 3.5 aircraft per month.

I don't think it was ever supposed to be 10 per month. My guess is 5. I haven't seen anything official.

I would think thats unlikely. That would be less than 3 years production with current orders. There are also rumours that LH is looking to downsize their order and I would not be surprised if there are others too. My guess would be somewhere around 6 per month.

Does anybody know the next delivery for All Nippon Airways final 6 77W's on order? Deliveries are supposed to be completed by 2019. Their last 77W delivery JA792A occurred in May 2015.

Any help will be appreciated.

I assume the production rate of 3.5 will stay after the EIS of the 777-9, the 150 frame Emirates order is to be delivered over ten years or more. I do not imagine the other orders to be delivered fast either. For example I expect LH to take the birds slowly. For a higher production rate Boeing needs more orders, some where the delivery is not sometime in the future.

It won't be for a while as these 6 birds are supposed to replace the 7 domestic 777-300As. Or they can be used to relieve the oldest 6 777-300ERs and use them to replace the domestic birds. Those 773As aren't exactly old enough (for the normal replacement cycle) so they wanted to push the replacement cycle as far back as they can.

Are the windows over the wing adjacent to door 3 blanked out?? Seems an awful lot of them and LX seatmaps show no galleys/toilets there.

If you scroll down a couple of posts you will see an Air India frame in the same spot with all windows covered . It is a new convertible option . Windows are lowered during flight so passengers can smoke and take selfies from the outside  [Joking]

777s usually roll out from the factory with windows fully covered . This is a procedure mainly to test and adjust various interior installations/setups. Windows are also occasionally installed later in the pre-flight process mainly from the inside .

Protection material will be fully removed before its first flight

According to Boeing, at the end of January there were 99 777's to be delivered, 69 77W's and 30 777F's

Somebody may be able to answer this for me - Why is it that the Freighter only comes in the 200ER/LR Fuselage length, and not the same length as the 77W? Was it just the requirement of the market or a technical issue?

You hit the payload limit far earlier than the volume limit

Expanding, the weight saved using the ,-200 allows a much higher rated floor (lb/ft^2) too. The 777F is as La704 noted, more weight than payload limited.

The exception is FedEx or other package companies. The 778F will have even more of a volume to weight I'm balance. Cest la vie.

A 777-300 would offer similar internal volume to the 747-400 so that would have pretty much killed the 747 freighter market. Also, by being smaller, the 777-200 airframe can lift more payload weight (in terms of payload to MZFW). The 777-200 airframe is also similar in size to the MD-11 so it makes a perfect replacement for that platform, offering a bit more space and a fair bit more payload weight and range.
