I had the chance to fly on A4O-MA couple of weeks ago. It was my first MAX flight ever. The plane is definitely quieter comparing to NG birds.
However, the interior that Oman put in their MAX J simply sucks major league. No under seat storage and very limited recline.
When I walked in and saw this interior I was very happy. I thought it's going to be almost lay flat seat (like they have in their ex-Kenya 787s).
They have better recline in their old interior planes.

The two good things in this MAX were: divider between passengers and extra large table (on the picture it shows only half of the table)

Would have been nice to have at least a sticker on it to to celebrate a rather monumental record!

I agree, Southwest really missed out on such a monumental occasion.
Maybe there's a plaque in the doorway or something similiar?

That's good but a little nose art wouldn't hurt ...... ala.... the Heart One and Heart Two

It shouldn't be an issue. The fuselages are secured to the railcar under the cockpit and under the wing box, the tail section hangs over an empty flatbed car enabling the whole length of the fuselage to pivot through turns. There may be a slight limitation in turning radius i.e. more gentle turns on the rail route but it should be manageable. If you google Boeing 737 on railcar images there are some great shots!

Good to know. I was wondering because basically the Max 10 is a twin engine 707, the fuselage's are about the same length.

Can anyone tell us if they have started modifying the 3 prototype Max8’s for Southwest? The original schedule called for them to be delivered in February. Thanks for any information.

I know of at least one railroad bridge that had to be replaced in order to accommodate the 737-900 in Renton. Whether that was the only bridge en route that had such limitations that might impact the MAX 10 I don't know. I've not heard anything that would lead me to believe it'll be a problem, though.
