AS and KE pulled it off pretty nicely too.
It's kind of incredible Southwest hasn't done this yet. Their loyalty to Boeing is obvious, and they certainly have no problem with full-fuselage special liveries. Hopefully the gears are turning in the marketing department.

Any particular reason two of UAs first three Max9s have been delayed leaving BFI? 7501 was shown as ‘Refueling’ 7503 was ‘Operationsional difficultlies’.

7503 was never towed to the Delivey Center although it was scheduled to after the Delta 739 left . Most likely a software bug that needed reboot .

United has plenty of time till EIS so they prefered not to fly the aircraft at night .

7501 had indeed a small issue with the fuel system that prevented the aircraft from departing .

Many deliveries face delays some times for several days until the customer is fully satisfied.

Looks like AC has slightly adjusted their MAX order from 49 MAX8/12 MAX9 to 50 MAX8/11 MAX9

Assuming the 11 deferrals are the -9, I could imagine Air Canada wanting to use traffic patterns over the next few years to evaluate whether the -10 might be the better option if they need capacity or the -8 if they do not.

I hasn’t even had its first engine start on the new engines yet. If it’s anything like N8704Q, it will be a few weeks on the flight line before it flys.

It’s currently at Paine Field in Everett. It did a test flight this morning. Scheduled to be delivered on May 11th from what I heard.

I know they have their 2nd scheduled to begin final assembly this month. Beyond that, I’m not sure.

Probably be SilkAir until further notice, the first aircraft delivered with SQ product will most likely have the SQ livery.
