I think the plastic covering of the floors are causing that shine. But anyways I do miss the diamond droplets.

Premium eco out of london is a 'must'-have.so its a great move by pal.pax are willing to pay more, to be not sitted in eco,especially the british, irish,icelandish etc,that want more comfort on a nearly 14h flight.the flight from a b777 is not a downgrade at all!with those luxurios cabins!

I suggest pal to offer lumpia vegi and meat,or fresh sariwa lumpia, as an appetizer (business and premium class).like the satay on singapore/malaysian,we have our own,the best eggrolls in asia!with the vinegar/chili sauce.hmmmmm.nobody will ever complain,because it is worldwide loved by foodies.do it now,before other do it pal!

Had read a report saying they had retained the services of a consultant to evaluate and manage these huge PPP (or whatever else they may call it) programs. This recent development should expedite the process drastically as the country needed that NAIA upgrade yesterday.

The second ex-Iberia A340 (RP-C3438) flew to SFB via SFO last week, where the first retired ex-Iberia A340 (RP-C3436) was ferried to earlier this year.

Looks like only four A340s are left in the fleet.

Hoping for more A350-900s in pals fleet (up to 15 A350-900s).Auckland/Sydney/Melbourne (pos. Christchurch) should be served by the A350-900s.6 refurb A330 should cover middle east routes,same new tel aviv.2 more A330 should be refurbished.the other 5 A330 should be sold or leased to another airline.too much A330s in their fleet.their 10 B777 should be all refurbished to 3 class,and replaced by 10 A350-1000 by 2026-2029.we hope for a new airport for the increasing pax,from new routes,otherwise pal can't grow at all.it all about the airport problem...

Pal is making losses,an investor should step in to refurbish their fleet, mentioned above (2 A330,10 B777) and more A350-900s
This is my personal opinion and 'wish' about pals fleet after studying their strategy a lot.

Airbus offers the Rolls Royce powered A330-900 with an increased maximum takeoff weight of 251 tonnes, up from existing 242 tonnes, enabling it to cross the pacific. The A330-800, at 251 tonnes, can fly up to 8,150 nm with full passenger load in a three-class configuration, while the A330-900 flies as far as 7,200 nm fully loaded, or another 650 nm compared to the respective standard A330neo variants. Airbus offers the higher mtow A330neo as an option capable of doing Vancouver, Seattle, or San Francisco to Manila all year round and expects EIS in 2020."

So, JFK and LHR (if they make the change) will be on the A359. Hopefully the aircraft changes means they can get the 343s off of the second SFO and LAX frequencies. I've heard not good things about them and I wouldn't want to be stuck on one all the way to/from MNL.

The new CEB terminal looks amazing. CRK better have something similarly pretty when it gets a new terminal.

It's likely that they'll pull out the 77Ws from JFK and LHR and put those back on SFO and LAX until the coming holiday season. The remaining two A359s to be delivered next year could do the second SFO and LAX frequencies for half the week each at least, but it's not definite as PR's advisory said both would be sent to the east coast. Not sure if the two would be used to restart ORD (from YVR)...or launch a SEA terminator.

Anyway, in the above interview, PR's president confirms the A359s will first be deployed around the region for crew familiarization. The A343s will be used to start TLV (A333s are a bit challenged on the sector owing to overflight issues with S.A.) after which they'd probably be retired or held in reserve for charters. He did not mention anything about their A350 options nor the upcoming visit of the A339 to MNL as a possible replacement for the A340s.

PR would probably refurbish the 77Ws they own...the leased frames are likely to be returned when the leases expire.

PR might decide to replace the first 77Ws completing their leases in two to four years. That's ample time to put their finances in order and exercise their options before those expire. It all depends on whether their business forecast favors addition of bigger or smaller capacity...or otherwise maintaining the status quo.

OTOH, their envisioned foray into new destinations begs for the most economical, practical fit. The blog below sings the praises of the A339N..... :praise:

I waited so long for the arrival of the a321 Neos.and up to now not 1 single person, did a review or video.instead reviewers are making videos about old A321or A340 or whatever,that noone is interested anymore,with tons of other reviews about the older planes.now,a321neo is flying everyday to bkk,back and fort,but noone comes to mind to make a short video from smartphone!this is just frustating...
I guess i need to wait for the 2nd july.hoping that some aussies will take the advantage to film the first A321neo in australia.
