Hopefully Airbus will reach their delivery target this year if things with the engine manufacturer go smooth. And are Pratt and Whittney powered airframes allowed to fly higher then 30,000 feet now? I would imagine that restriction removed now.

2 quick questions open to the floor:

When is Primera Air getting their first A321neo?

Is there a docs spreadsheet somewhere for A320neo or A320 fam list in general?

Did you mean engine manufacturers? CFM is still running behind engine deliveries, forcing Airbus to put aircraft into temporary storage until engine arrive.

Any news regarding MSN 8043? There are some rumors stating that this A320NEO can be the first for TAP Portugal

As far as I can see, MSN 8043 is a CFM powered A320-251N that will be leased to TAP Portugal. The owner is BOC Aviation.

Airbus' transition to 100% raccoon bandit aircraft going smoothly it seems...

I'm really liking the black mask across all Airbus aircraft! An A380 with a black window frame would be cool.

I've a question concerning FAL Tianjin. Google earth
I noticed there is a hangar facility between the A320 FAL and the A330 completion center. This is located west of the high voltage station. Is this part of the A320 FAL (additional cabin outfitting hangars) or is this a narrowbody maintainance facility?

IIRC there was no official "restriction" to FL300.
Some operator let their aircrafts only fly to max FL300 because above this Level the buffer air at the PW switches to often from high to low and back to high. This produce more pressure bumps to the No 3 bearing than expected and this was one of the factors for the early bearing failures.
Now there are several SB´s which can solve this problem.

While the "More to Love" livery looks terrible IMHO with the purple/pink/red, I imagine the whole fuselage in a pattern of those light/dark/darker blue colour of the fin would be really great.
You can throw in a green line if you like :)

Airbus finally received CAAC certification for the P&W powered A321neo (P&W powered A320neo was certified about a year earlier).

Only in the closing days of last year was Airbus awarded Chinese certification for its new A321neo with Pratt & Whitney engines, the company said. That approval came nearly a year after many of the planes on order had already been made. Both A320neo and A321neo jets with CFM International engines have yet to win Chinese approval.

http://money.cnn.com/2018/01/12/news/co ... index.html

Still no CFM certification though, but at least China Southern and Sichuan Airlines should be able to receive a bunch of P&W A321neo aircraft.

Would require a different pylon and I doubt they would take a CEO engine since they specifically ordered the NEO.
