Curious how that works with the US regulation that aircraft have to have their place of final assembly listed on the safety card. Are airlines forced to have a separate safety card for those aircraft assembled at BFM?

In round numbers, Pratt is delivering almost 12 per month versus 14+ for CFM. Sigh... I had higher expectations for the PW1100G at this juncture.

I do think Pratt has picked up but the disruption was very large.

With CFM their problem lies in the future as the durability issues start to hit.

Now we are building up experience with these engines - if either have an issue like the Trent 1000 one that appears after many hours and cycles then it will be really messy.
Here I would expect if anyone is going to suffer it would be CFM as the LEAP is pushing the temperature boundaries. Mind you I thought that all along and Pratt has messed up on the standard tech (Oh I do know how difficult it is).

Yes, they would have to have different safety cards for their A320s depending in whether they were built in Toulouse, Hamburg or Mobile.
