Any insight on the next -1000s? Wasn't Cathay supposed to take delivery in April...

MSN 143 (QR#23) on its delivery flight at the moment (A7-ALZ). Delivery #22 of 2018
MSN 212 (LH#11) completed its RTO this morning. First flight scheduled for Thursday.

No idea on the delivery date, but there's still twelve days to go. Time will tell, but I don't believe that B-LXA has had its first flight yet, so I'm guessing that its delivery will happen next month now! The same applies to the next two frames for QR, A7-ANB and A7-ANC, neither of which has flown yet also!

Any news about the CAAC certification ? It looks like the one for the A32s Neo is completed, so I expected the A350 should be done asap also if Sichuan would start operations in May ?

I am wondering about the -1000 situation.
The first -1000 to be delivered quite some time ago yet the second to be delivered (not sure which one it will be at this point) has not even made it to the flight line yet... The first one for Cathay was supposed to be delivered in April. It is clearly not making it. Not sure when it will move.
Is there any info on -1000 production and delivery ?

The next 35J will be MSN 102 (QR). It is currently in the paint hangar with its engines installed. Possibly late May/early June delivery. Then it will be MSN 118 (CX). It is painted but has been delayed through cabin fit (customer items - not Airbus issues). MSN 110 (QR) has been in cabin fit for a while and MSN 125 (QR) joined it there last week. So the line is moving along.

The in service performance of Qatar A35k has been very good since starting with e cellent punctuality on DOH-LHR daily plus DOH - KWI sectors most mornings. This suggests no significant issues with either airframe or engines.

I presume the first few flights will be standard test flights and it won't be until later they start pushing the boundaries with a full fuel load and then up to MTOW etc.

I really doubt so as it doesn't count as a new type. It would make as much sense as creating a new type for a MTOW variant. As far as I know the A321LR doesn't has a specific ICAO Type either.

I had a notification earlier today from Flightradar24 that the A350ULR had squawked 7700 during its test flight. It returned back to Toulouse ok. No idea what the issue was if any.

Unlikely because it's really just a 280,000kg MTOW A350-900 that has the ability to utilize more of the fuel tank volume present in all A350-900s via some software changes and minor hardware updates.

This is part of the livery. A welcome sign for customers boarding the aircraft.

Depends on your definition of delivery.

Airbus counts change of ownership, which makes it #24. The spreadsheet uses fly away from TLS which makes it #25.
