Do we know if the -1000 improvements are getting to the -900 yet. I am thinking of the bilge and underfloor cabling layout and carbon fibre door surrounds.

It is planed, but I do not know if the A350-900ULR has already all the planed changes. That would be the logical frame to test all these changes.

MSN 217 (CA#1) moved to the flightline.

So yes. Chinese deliveries should commence soon. And i would bet that politics will make sure CA gets the first one.

217 is CA#3 , so it rolling out doesn’t indicate any progress with the CAAC, unfortunately.

#3 CA rolling out of FAL does not mean #3 CA delivered. see QR if you need a precedent.
This will likely not only be CA#1 delivery but China #1 delivery also.

Thanks , good point , it has also been reported that MSNs 167 and 178 have come out of storage so all three could be being prepared to fly soon.

Yes, it was a Sri Lankan frame NTU, one of 3. It's been painted in Sichuan's scheme with Panda logos for a while.

MSN 167 is actually CA #1...MSN 178 is CA #2...MSN 217 is CA #3. At least according to the order that they were built. Delivery order is another matter!

Taiwanese aviation forums are circulating a rumor about China Airlines CI#14 B-18918 wearing an Airbus co-branded livery (like what the airline did with Boeing on a 747 and 777). If the rumors are true, the scheme will be a mash-up of the CI livery and Airbus Carbon livery (gray/black replaced with CI blue/purple). Can anyone from TLS confirm/ reject this?

22 last year, by the end of May. There are a lot ( 20+ ) of finished frames which have been held up , which will hopefully make a surge of deliveries possible in the second half of the year. 100+ is still possible for the full year.

Two -1000s scheduled for delivery in June, one each for QR and CX. The ULH is undergoing testing, with first delivery likely in August.
