Airbus has not mentioned any fixed numbers for the single families. The only declaration was 800 frames for all families together.

There has been a few guestimates around and most common is 100 frames in all, -900 + -1000.

The current status for this year is 50 A350-900 and 6 A350-1000. 5 have left the nest this month and I expect a few more this month. 44 more frames would have to be delivered to match the expectation of 100.

My guess would be another 6 to 8 A350-1000 this year and about 38 A350-900, give and take a few A350-900.

Deliveries have been very slow this year compared to the loading of the FAL and 18 frames are working up as it is. Excluding the two Sichuan frames that have already been official delivered to the Lessor last year and will not count in this year´s delivered numbers

There are positive signs. The Chinese frames are starting to go out after late certification. A question mark are the HNA group frames. The first or older -1000s have finished rework and the newer frames are running faster through the system. One can expect the big Airbus end of the year push.

I'm guessing the slower deliveries this year are due to -1000 and -ULR certification, introduction of the new wing twist and winglets, and supply of engines?

Next year should see a good ramp up.

There have been customer specific issues with HNA and Qatar which have caused a build up of assembled frames. Production rate is only going to 10 per month so the ramp up is virtually complete. Maybe 100 deliveries in 2018 and 110 in 2019.

MSN 226 and MSN 245 are the JJ ntu going to Hainan. MSN 250 is actually going to JJ.

My five cents worth on 2018 deliveries. I believe AB started the year with a loose goal of 100. Then Asiana delayed two frames, Hong Kong Airlines delayed 3 frames, Cathay looks like it may well fall 1-2 short of goal (probably cabin related) and Qatar look like 1-2 short as well due to the wheels not really getting into motion until Q2. So that will leave 2018 deliveries in the low 90s. My spreadsheet (take it with a grain of salt) is currently sitting on a best case scenario of 91 deliveries, including 14 A35K (7 each to QR/CX).

What exactly is the relationship between HU and JD? JD's second A350 is MSN #112 and HU's first is really MSN #226!

And as you noted in the 787 delivery thread, HU is also taking three 787s today they direct-purchased (in addition to one leased via Bank of Communication) so looks like they were able to square away some or all of their recent airframe financing issues.

Flying home as HU1069 which indicates it has been delivered to HU and not JD. Word on the street is that it will get repainted in HU colors shortly. This frame is leased from AerCap.

I suspect CI #14 will be delivered on the Double Tenth, the ROC national day 10/10. Hopefully there will be news on their options being exercised, CEO had said in past they had to do it 2018.
