Airbus now states a range of 8400nm for the 316t -1000. It should be able to do lax if there are no significant restrictions caused by the temperature in Doha. Unfortunately the acap is not updated with -1000 field performance so no publicly available information.

This one is actually updated pretty consistently

For some reason I can’t see any updates after msn 222, it used to show frames entering FAL but lately that part has been frozen, thx for the reply.

Confirmed now....
http://www.flightglobal.com/news/articl ... ke-449476/

Airbus has disclosed that its just-announced new higher-weight A350-1000 option, available immediately, allows operators to carry 5.5t more cargo or avail of 400nm (730km) in additional range.

This is a big range boost straight out of the box.

Well, ln 228 for PR is now in cabin fit at Station 20 compared to the FAL previously. Might have something to do with the production rate change?

A350R (Regional version, not ULR version proposed at program launch). SQ will be getting some starting later this year.

It would depend on the ZFW, but you're likely looking at 1000-2000nm, So domestic hops like those handled by LGW A330-300s.

Not showing yet in the Easa Tcds and Airbus was quite clear that it will be 2020 for the introduction. Plans change of course but no confirmation of that.

The 280 t will be certified, by the time the first Singapore A350-900ULR will be delivered. I make you a bet, that the normal frame 280 t will be certified at the same time.

You got it right...The 280t variant will be available for the standard 900 as soon as the first ulr is delivered.

This identifies the improvements for IB's A350.

Confirms CF door surrounds ported back from the -1000. Also that the changed wing twist is already incorporated into the -1000, but apparently not the revised larger winglets. Maybe they will arrive on later -1000s, or they do not yield the same advantages on the larger frome for some reason?

Any idea as to approximately when we will know which MSN will be AY #14?

Nothing impressive. I don't have exact numbers, but there was a thread that mentioned UA was able to take several tons both ways on SFO-SIN during summer, though winter it was pretty much nil, and at worst up to 20seats blocked.

Also saw that when AKL had a fuel line issue, causing QR and EK to 1stop their westbounds, that the both weren't able to take their normal inbound cargo, as they tanking higher fuel than normal due to initial concerns of limited fuel even for techstopping.

Assuming a 15 hour sector, we could carry almost 5t on our 789s. Though I'm not sure if 15 hours qualifies as ULH these days.

2019: 2x 359 + 4x 35J

This is a big range boost straight out of the box.

"to carry 5.5t more cargo": more than which variant? The MZFW (223t) of this new WV002 is the same as of the WV001 and only 3t higher than the WV000. I doubt that Airbus has managed to save 5t of weight from the aircraft, so I'm curious to know where this increased cargo capacity came from. Note that I've also seen this tweet of an Airbus presentation announcing this increased cargo capacity. What are your thoughts?

It didn't say cargo volume had increased. It did say that cargo mass that could be carried over a range would increase.

I wasn't able to find the picture of this presentation either. But maybe some more details about the additional capacity in this article:
http://atwonline.com/airframes/airbus-e ... -a350-1000

"According to Airbus, there are no structural or hardware changes to the aircraft. The increase has been made possible because some design margin was released and fuel capacity was increased."

I think thats it for a while as far as A350's being assembled for DL goes. Next one, #12, is not for a while :(

I believe they will take delivery of 4 more later this year then the last 10 are deferred until 2022-ish?

I think thats it for a while as far as A350's being assembled for DL goes. Next one, #12, is not for a while :(

I believe they will take delivery of 4 more later this year then the last 10 are deferred until 2022-ish?

The next two A359s for DL will be N512DN and N513DN, which are scheduled for delivery in January and February 2019.

Would be nice if during the Cathay A35K delivery ceremony right now, they‘d say how many Cathay will get this year. Well, more than Qatar Airways for sure ;)

I believe the CX delivery schedule is the following:
2018: 8x 35J (including today's delivery)
2019: 2x 359 + 4x 35J
2020: 4x 359 + 3x 35J
2021: 5x 35J

B-LXD does not have a delivery date yet. Others have. Not sure why

Care to share with everyone the delivery dates for B-LXB/C and others? The only thing I've seen is for a delivery in July for LXC.

I really doubt that the A35K is lighter than a Tu-154...
