Avior Airlines also flies the A340 on its rather short bla-mia route, rumours has it after january it´ll be phase out in favor of the 734, which makes more sense economy wise.

IB flys daily a 346 to JFK and ORD, and at some points to LAX ans BOS. Since they have the 333/332 if Im not wrong they stopped flying to MIA. Mauybe SFO next summer will be with a 332 too.
And they will last at least a couple of years since all the 346 interiors are new.

Air France will be flying them to Detroit until March, when they'll be replaced by the 777-200. I think that LH also flies the 340 (-300 and -600) to Detroit occasionally.

At LAX, it's Air Tahiti Nui (-300) and Lufthansa (-600) which are always a treat to watch coming in! Also Phillipines with the -300, but the interchange with the 777-300ER

I think LH/City Line still brings the A343 to TPA. I haven't been home to see it come in lately to see it though....

LH has flown the A340-600 into CLT a couple of times in the last few weeks.

I guess a follow-up question would be, what airlines fly the A340, but don't fly them to the US?

And some days Air Tahiti has a lot of them at LAX. Last time I was there, we were joking that LAX actually is their hub...there were three or four in one day.

AF served MSP an A340 the past two summer seasons, it will shift to a 777-200 as well as DTW.

SAA serves JFK with an A340-600, IAD was a former A340-600 destination, it went A330 due to lower demand. IAD-Dakar/Accra-JNB. SAA's A340's were meant for SWISS, but were never taken.

SAS uses A340's from its CPH base to ORD

LAN/LATAM never flew their A340-300's to the US, as far as I know. They were used for Europe and AKL. They have since been retired

LH largely kept their A340's based in Munich, so you will see them on MUC flights. The A340-600's have the unique lower level lav's.

Yeah, I fly IB 340s all the time to the US, I often forget it's not very common. (The 346 is the plane I've got the most miles in this year). They fly them to JFK and ORD and in the summer regularly get them to LAX, but that often goes with a 330, too.

MIA is mostly 333, but they'll sub it in if they need more capacity. Staying close by the US IB also operates the 340 exclusively to MEX and PTY

Not PTY since they have the 333.

TP use the A340 to the US. Not permanently but they sprinkle it on the MIA and EWR routes, IIRC.

Has TK ended all A340 flying? They used to operate it sporadically to the U.S. too. I remember seeing it at BOS a few times.

They flew to LAX in the early 2000s, but not for long. Route was SCL-LIM-LAX.

V0 only has a bunch of E190s airworthy. Its sole A342 has been rotting away at CCS for years. Same goes for the 4 CRJ700s.

At EWR we get one daily LH A346 from EWR, the occasional A343 sub from SK, and sometimes the A346 from VS.

To echo this, I believe Hi-Fly has operated some ACMI flying with the 340 for SAS into and out of EWR.

Flew LH A346 from FRA - DTW in Spring 2015, don't know if they're still utilized on that route.

I've spotted LH and IB A346 and SAS A343 at ORD.

Anyone know if AF will be bringing their A340s back to MSP this spring?
