Right now, ADI has 4 ERJ-145s.

California Pacific Lost their EAS bid at Alamosa CO mainly because they don't have an interline agreement with United Airlines.

California Pacific Airlines

Sat Oct 06, 2018 6:34 am

I was driving to DEN the other night for my 10:15pm UA DEN-SAN flight, and I noticed on both the terminal and train signage that a new airline called California Pacific will be flying to DEN. I frequent the forums but wasn't aware of this new airline. In a general sense, what's the plan for California Pacific? ULCC? Just curious, thanks for any responses.

California Pacific is doing some essential air service out of DEN to South Dakota. For more info, go to http://www.mycpair.com

It’s first flight hasn’t even started out of Carlsbad yet and already they’ve had a plane damaged...

Anyone know the routes the planes will be taking to get out to California?

I know there routes, maybe I didn’t clarify this enough. All of their planes are currently still in the dakotas and Colorado, but their first flight out of Carlsbad is the day after tomorrow. What I’m asking is what airports will the E145’s be stopping at on their way from Colorado to California?

An E145 could easily fly from DEN to CLD.

They'll likely stop in Carlsbad after leaving Denver.

Their Carlsbad schedule looks like it doesn’t leave room for maintenance delays. Monday-Friday the schedule runs from 7am to 9pm with only 30-45 min turnarounds at each airport.

I hope so as well. Currently none of there aircraft are on the west coast or have flight plans to the west coast and one was damaged already after it hit a construction vehicle last Friday.

Unfortunately it doesn’t even look like the inaugural flight will be a California Pacific plane. The one plane painted in the California Pacific livery will remain in Denver.

It looks like N259JQ will be the aircraft. FR24 shows a DEN-CLD flight planned for yesterday that didn't seem to happen, and another one planned for this morning planning to depart at 1100 and arrive at 1203.

Hope the flight leaves, would be bad if their inaugural was cancelled. Wish they would use N286SK instead, what livery is N259JQ wearing?

I don’t know if this is bad or not. One of the California Pacific planes was supposed to leave DEN for CLD last night and was cancelled and rescheduled for this morning. It was supposed to leave at 11am MST , it’s now 1:30pm MST and it hasn’t left yet. With the inaugural less than 24hrs away, Is this a bad thing or is it normal for airlines to cut it this close?

The most recent photos of it here and on JP have it in Delta Connection livery, but Flickr has photos of it in the Delta Connection base livery with the titles and logos removed from earlier this year.

A new DYN259 flight is showing in Flightradar24 and FlightAware for DEN-CLD tomorrow morning departing at 0515, arriving 0602. DYN101 is also showing for CLD-SJC. No tail number showing in FR24 for either flight.

Weird response from them but with a tiny operation they’re probably deciding things on the fly. I wonder if your Instagram DM was what made them realize they had no plane there? Lol

So any news from the airline for those of you that are passengers? Just like yesterday, the plane was supposed to leave DEN for CLD this morning but still hasn’t. If they don’t fix something fast and get some planes out to California, they’ll be in big trouble (more than they are now) .

I've been rooting for California Pacific, but if you can't get a plane there for the first ever flight, dependability just went down the drain and reputation is immediately shot.

That plane should have been there 2 days ago and they should have been marketing the crap out of it at CLD before the first passenger even arrived to check in. Instead, the story will be "Long awaited airline out of Carlsbad cancels first flight."

Pitty.

No...South Dakota cities are EAS routes from Denver, the scheduled service that was operated prior to ADI being sold.

Since two of the four airplanes are EPs, I'm guessing that they can't fly out if CRQ. When Continental had them, they were no balls of fire.

I would assume that it means the ERJ-145s. Though, I've never heard of any plane being referred to as "EP" before.

ERJ145EP – Same fuel capacity as 145ER (4,174 kg) but an increased MTOW 20,990 kg.

EMB-145EP has a lower gross weight than an EMB-145LR (which is what N259JQ and N286SK are) and were delivered with lower rated engines. I know Chautauqua didn't upgrade the engines and I'm sure ADI didn't, either.

Should the airline rename itself to CalPac? Sounds more hip and quicker to say than California Pacific
