Also a lot of cuts at lga again. Are they year to year cuts? Or just loading more ahead of time?
Huge add by ua on ewr to pbi.
Also ua cutting on ord to hpn? Would they loose slots at hpn from doing this?
Also vx is out on sea to dal. Is that just being transferred to as?

This surprises me. To the point that I'm wondering if it could be a misfile.

I’m surprised AA would take frequencies off of CLT-LGA. I haven’t been on a not full flight in years on this route.
Finally, good to see VivaColombia back to MIA (didn’t they take IT out of the schedule a while back?)
And always, thanks Enilria

Interesting that we see Delta trimming it's ATL-LHR capacity by one flight.

I believe most of these just mirror W17 service. But man, AA's PHL-west coast winter service is atrocious. No wonder why PHL bleeds paxs to EWR and BWI. I also wonder if there aren't competitive pressures at play. PHL-DEN is a 4 way battle, and LAS/SFO are 3 way battles.
FWIW, the 332 remains on PHL-SFO through Feb.

LAX-JFK is reduced every winter and on every holiday.....and Saturdays year round. It's a business market and there isn't a lot of business going on in December.

Ok, QX melt down. AS loyalists booking away in droves. I know I'm even booking away from QX flights right now. It looked nasty when I was last in Seattle - lots and lots of regional cancels - and the agent at the service center said none were weather or maintenance related.

SEA-FLL caters to cruise traffic
SEA-TUS/PSP loads and yields aren't there. There is little business traffic on these 2 and most of the traffic is retirees which continue to remain loyal to AS for the time being, which has a better network in the PNW to bring in the connecting traffic to satisfactorily fill their aircraft.

I don't see these routes making it to next summer, especially those BOS p2p routes that are operated by Air Wisconsin. ZW is transferring all of their own flying to UA and I doubt AA is gonna try and find another carrier to operate those routes. AA themselves seem like they want to slash out p2p flying all together. Although these cuts could just be normal since Dec is a slower month for business and demand would be lower.
This should probably be taken with a grain of salt, but I flew AA BOS-PIT last month on a Monday morning and the LF was very light (less than 20 people out of the 50 total seats onboard), compared to B6 who I took up had at least a 75% LF.

Delta's cuts are Jan-Mar. Look at Sea-Tac seasonality. Winter traveler counts are way off from summer.

AA's low frequency on PHL-DEN is the most surprising, but it was so this year's winter as well correct? AA does compete well on PHL-ATL with six daily flights this upcoming winter, even as ATL is another more mid con hub (than PHL is relatively) for two competing carriers and even though it overflies AA's CLT as well. I suppose AA picks it's battles, not willing to becoming irrelevant on PHL-ATL but is accept a third place position on PHL-DEN.

Well whenever the US3's regional carriers have issues, it boils down to the mainline carrier, and AS is no exception. If it has an AS flight number, passengers don't know the difference. AS/QX is in a world of hurt for being cheap.
