Holy (bleep). SJC is on FIRE! :candle:

Those are some very interesting choices. But I'm having trouble seeing the market.

Interesting, furthermore I am seeing connections through MCO, CLE, AUS, and CVG and I can even connect through OKC, MSP, and MCI on some flights.

Are you seeing a SJC-MCO flight? I looked at it earlier, but I couldn't find that.

The SDF-DEN flight hasn't been added yet, so they are still getting things in the schedule. (SDF was the previous announcement to be added in the schedule at this time)

Finding some interesting red-eyes from the west coast to Denver. Some days it appears the only SFO-DEN flight leaves at 12:59am and arrives Denver at 4:41am Quite the move to up utilization, though the typical overnight gives a buffer so bad delays one day don't spill into the next. Those have to be among the shortest redeye flights flown in the US.

On top of that....no connections in DEN other than ORD? I'm thinking this will be the third failed attempt at FAT. They were better off launching this from BFL or SCK.

For those less familiar with how Frontier rollouts typically go, know that it' not uncommon for plenty of odd things to be out there at first:

--Odd fares, or no fare available.
--Schedules may be out there but navigation may be odd. For example a new flight might operate 7 days per week and you can inquiry on any individual day. But when you inquire on a particular date the alternate date tabs may say NA on some or all other days of the week.
--Connecting itineraries may not be immediately available in all cases.
--Sometimes they only publish Discount Den club fares first and don't release regular fares for days, During that period you won't find the flight on Expedia, for example.

So if something doesn't seem right take it with a grain of salt, check other sources or other examples if applicable, and be patient.

Top unserved markets out of FAT that wouldn't be backtracking from DEN: ORD, MSP, IAD/BWI/DCA, MCO, JFK/LGA/EWR. Hopefully they will hit at least 3 more of these with connections, but the ORD add is nice.

It is a seasonal reduction until it isn't. London appears safe for now.

As for "most of Asian getting pulled or down gauged" that's not even remotely correct. Tokyo is still daily, Beijing was cut by, what, one day a week (as it was in at least three other markets including CHICAGO) and Shanghai is still the same I believe.

Anyway, there was a huge surge of brand new international service all at once. I'm not surprised that adjustments needed to be made to find the right level of service.

I'm wondering if lots of these routes were ones previously (generally) announced a month or 2 ago during the explosion-announcement, but now we are seeing start dates and service details for them, or are most of these brand new announcements? (E.g., SAN-OKC/TUL were previously 'generically' announced but without specific information of start dates, freq, equip, etc. Today, we have dates and specifics.)

I have lots of trouble keeping track of routes on F9 and wish I could find a way beyond the booking engine, to figure out schedules. Between seasonality, less-than-daily freq, and constant changes, how does one really keep track of what flights operate to what destinations in a given month? Phew!

BTW, I really think this thread's title should be changed to be all-encompassing; otherwise, it's just a matter of time before a bunch more F9-threads are started...

That's a lot of ULCC capacity for this market pair which historically has high fares and little reason for leisure travel. Plus there is a fare war just 100 miles south on CVG-BWI, with $49/$59 WGA on Southwest pretty much the second week of October to the end of Southwest's booking calendar. But there might be connections out of CVG that now F9 is relying on.

I agree that COS is so badly underutilized and if I were F9 I would take more and more flights out of Denver--the population footprint justifies this

Not including the restart of other seasonal routes (AUS, IAH, MCI, MKE, BNA, SAT),notable shifts for PHL as of April 8, 2018 include:
- CLT from 4x weekly A319 to daily A319
- CVG upgauged to daily A321 (seasonal route)
- RSW from daily A319 to 3x weekly A319
- MSY goes to 3x weekly A319 (Wasn't this up to a daily A321 at one point?)
- MIA return to daily A319 from 3x weekly A321
- MCO goes from 2x daily A321 & 1x daily A319 to 3x daily A321
- TPA goes from daily A321 to 4x weekly A319

Meaning, RDU, PBI, and UST do not appear to be loaded in S18.

Any news on SEA-CVG? In this article it doesn't mention the route, but when I search it up on Frontier, the booking dates are only available a few times a week, but the flights aren't nonstop. I'm curious to see what they'll do about this route.

They appear to have shifted PBI completely to TTN and, interestingly, it is shown as bookable on the website throughout the booking window at the moment, taking it to August.

I'll be intrigued to see if that holds, because even MIA is shown as seasonal (end of April).

They're getting a bunch of new aircraft, mostly A320Neo's. They also have 20 x A319Neo on order, but they won't start coming in until later next year.

I thought PHL-CLT/RDU were daily 321's in the summer? So it's rather large downgrade to lose RDU and CLT to go 321>319
PHL-AUS/IAH are on 321's.
PHL-MCI is a 320, not sure what this has been.
