I guess PHL did not preform so hot in the first summer of operation. My rough math shows a 10% decrease in seats for S18.

Looks like with the switch the MAX, CLE will start out at 5 weekly, rather than 4 weekly.

TXL is new I think.
They don´t currently fly to Berlin. Only WOW Air operates from SXF to KEF. I guess they will fill the void left by Air Berlin.

KEF-YHZ eff 2 June 18 - 4 weekly

Ah so that's why KEF-YHZ gained a weekly flight. By going MAX, it keeps the overall capacity increase to a minimum.

You are correct. The TXL flights were announced recently when Air Berlin's future looked in doubt.

I am curious to see what happens the line with FI at PHL. The MAX8 makes sense to me but hope to see the route grow up to daily year round over the next few years.

About time FI invested in a new plane to fly their longer routes

FI will get its first B737 MAX7 in Q1 2018. They will get 3 in 2018 and 6 in 2019.
I am not sure how many MAX7 or MAX8 they will get next 2 years. But I am 80% sure that first three aircraft in 2018 will all be MAX7.

FI hasn't ordered the -7MAX, only -8MAX and -9MAX

The -7MAX isn't scheduled for certification untill 2019 anyway

Flew out of PHL in August. Loads were almost full, including up front. Did LHR connex,,not nearly as full. With all the new KFE flights FI and WOW, route becomes more O/D. lots of PHL connex cities will have their own N/S

The other US FI flights and WOW don't really factor into the PHL performance.

The PHL FI flight is meant to connect the PHL market to the European markets that FI serves at a better price point or more efficiently (ala through KFE instead of LHR, FRA, MAD, etc.). There are 18 EU markets that FI serves that do not have nonstop service from PHL.

Sorry, I should have said inbound PHL connex, would be a double connex but still good price points for CLE,DTW,DFW,STL etc, now they will have 1 stop connex
