Sorry!

I am answering these questions honestly and I'd like to know if answering "No" to the height question will automatically disqualify me. Thanks in advance for your help!
Mods, I apologize if this is in the wrong forum. Please move it to where it is appropriate.

I've applied to Skywest, Mesa, UA (I know Spanish and Russian so I selected those language options, hopefully my skills are good enough to pass the language test) and AA. I'm being picky because I live in Houston and want to be based there. In the case of AA, I have friend in the DFW area that I can crash with until I get on my feet. I know you don't always get the base you want, but being picky would give me a fighting chance.
I looked at WN, and I didn't see any FA openings, and haven't looked at B6 yet. Speaking of B6, I saw one of their pilot programs that helps "crewmembers" (not sure if FAs only or employees on general) become pilots, it's called the Transition Gateway. If anyone has info on that, I'd greatly appreciate it. I saw it in their site and they were kinda vague on it.

No because they don't have the right to work in the U.S. and the domicile is in the U.S. Same thing with the other flip of the coin (American being an FA for a Canadian airline that doesn't have domiciles in the U.S.)
TWA772LR, I wish you the best of luck. I don't post very often but read way more than I would like to admit. It's clear to me you have a pretty good head on your shoulders, so whoever hires you will be lucky.
BravoOne wrote:So why have you not applied to DL? They have a lot of language "speakers" within the FA group and I'm sure both Russian and Spanish are on there list of "most wanted" languages. Don't worry about height as while that may have been an issue once upon a time doubt that it's that big anymore. The big reason for a height restriction in the past was the ability to fit in the lifts on the DC10 and L1011, that went down to the lower galley. Anything over 6' was a squeeze, I kid you not about this.
