I've heard rumours that VS will now keep their leisure 744 fleet longer than expected, until 2021/2.
Priority has apparently shifted to the first batch of incoming A350-1000's to replace the remaining LHR A346's instead of the 744's.
Seems a sensible plan to me.

I guess the leisure fleet is now not really suited to LHR offering just 14J seats. The 8 remaining have an average age of 16.8yrs, still quiet young.
BA's ladies have an avg of 21yrs.

The VS 747 interior was refitted and updated not too long ago as well.
Will be sad to see the A346 leave though, great plane from a passengers point of view.

Highly doubt it, they are too premium heavy with 45 UC seats ( fine for LAS flights but not otherwise ) and the A333 can fulfill the role better.
