You do realise the huge amount of investment that is being made on the African continent by the Chinese hence all these routes by these airlines to the powerhouse of China which is Guangzhou.

$120 billion Chinese investment in Africa. And now over 1 million Chinese living in Africa.

A number of Africans live in Guangzhou although their numbers appear to be down.

There's a particular area in Guangzhou called "Xiaobei" where lives many, many Africans. The veiw there is pretty mich like Hong Kong so it's an impressive population. Also, a lot of companies in the Pearl rive delta(which incudes Guangzhou ,Shenzhen , HK) move their industries to Africa for cheap workforce . Whith booming economy, Guangzhou is also attracting a lot of African investors.
