Yes, the whole fleet is being painted in that livery. The TAM and LAN brands are no more.

Have any JJ aircraft been repainted yet, or just LA frames?

Yes, JJ planes have been repainted. PT-MSY (a 767) is an example. I don't know how many have been repainted and how many are left though (for either TAM or LAN).

There are a few JJ A319/A320s as well as the new A350s in the new livery. But it looks like a very slow painting schedule...

JJ:

A321 PT-MXD
A321 PT-XPB (OneWorld)

A320 PR-MHX
A320 PT-TMN
A320 PT-TMM
A320 PR-MBS

A319 PR-MAO
A319 PR-MYL
A319 PT-TME

A350 PR-XTD
A350 PR-XTE
A350 PR-XTF
A350 PR-XTG

767 PT-MSY

I believe that's all for LATAM Brasil for the moment.

Sad to see both TAM and LAN's liveries and history being dissolved into this tasteless new brand (and equally tasteless livery), but that's really not the focus of this thread. Hope I could help :D

This painting process is being really slow... I think that not even the company is really comfortable with this new livery/logo.

Yes. The bottomline is that the people from Santiago does not have a clue in how to deal with the former TAM.

When considering it all, don't forget Multiplus, the Brazilian FFP subsidiary, which was spun off in 2010 and has been posting profits ever since.

I just flew LAN Colombia. Curious as to why there are no planes on the "HK" registry but only the "CC" registry?

The former TACA aircraft are N registered interestingly enough.

On that if you think LATAM is slow then Avianca is glacial. There are still aircraft in the pre-2008 TACA livery.

LATAM does not report results discriminated by country/airline, but as a whole.

In any case, LATAM reported a profit of US$62MM for 2016. It is the airline's first positive result since 2011.

That said, Brazil continues to present a challenging environment for LATAM. Domestic capacity was reduced by 10.9% during the fourth quarter and, as a result, ASK revenue increased by 34.8% compared to the same quarter of 2015, driven by a 14.8% increase in RASK in Real as well as an average appreciation of 14.3% of the Brazilian real. In addition, LATAM Airlines Brazil reduced the capacity of the international routes between Brazil and the United States, reaching a reduction of approximately 36% during the fourth quarter compared to the same period of the previous year.

LATAM Peru and Colombia use planes interchangeably with LATAM Chile; I am pretty sure that is the case too partially, for LATAM Ecuador.

LATAM Argentina must operate its own dedicated and LV- registered fleet due to local legislation; same for LATAM Brazil.

The same is true for LATAM Peru. I've noticed that the Chilean-registered aircraft cycle between Chile, Colombia, and Peru, but the Argentinean and Ecuadorean-registered aircraft stay on flights within, to, or from their countries of registry. When LAN first started their Ecuadorean subsidiary, they initially used Chilean-registered aircraft as well. I've also noticed that the narrowbodies in the new colors used for Colombian flights have Colombian flags and "OPERADO POR LATAM AIRLINES COLOMBIA" titles behind the cockpit windows.

In the case of Argentina and Brazil, LATAM must register all aircraft in the local registries and fly them with national crews. Hence why you see their planes flying only for those two subsidiaries. It's the law in both countries.

In the case of Ecuador, by registering the LATAM Ecuador planes locally, LATAM Is entitled to a subsidy on jet fuel, available only to HC-registered aircraft.

One of the 777s, PT-MUA, recently had a check and interior retrofit at Abu Dhabi.
It was much speculated that this one would return sporting the LATAM livery... but it came back still in TAM colors.
At the moment, all of the 777s still have JJ colors.

LATAM has assigned a "new" A320 to LATAM Argentina. It is CC-CQN, (msn 3319), that is currently operating for both LATAM Chile and LATAM Peru. It has been assigned the Argentinian registration LV-HQI and will be LATAM Argentina's 16th A320.

It currently has LAN's old colors. I expect it won't be repainted with the new livery before it is transfered to LATAM Argentina.

While they really do need new J seating to match the A359/763 fleet, I don't think they're getting them. The last interior refit the 77Ws had was to add/remove the 4 F seats after demand wasn't there, AFAIK.

Any links to this? TAM does have a problem with widebody overcapacity at the moment, and it would be interesting if some of 77Ws left the fleet - but this is the first "concrete" thing I'm hearing about it.

LATAM Argentina's 16th A320 LV-HQI positioned yesterday SCL-LIM-MEX, where it will receive LATAM's new livery. After that, it will fly to Argentina to join the rest of the fleet. Aircraft is ex- CC-CQN, previously with LATAM Chile and LATAM Colombia.

LV-HQI (ex CC-CQN) arrived @ EZE yesterday on delivery from MEX where it was repainted with LATAM's new livery. So the A320s with the new livery at LATAM Argentina are:

Major changes as A320neos MSN 6286 (PT-TMM) and 7126 (PT-TMN), originally received by LATAM Brasil, have been transferred to LATAM Chile (CC-BHF and CC-BHG). Also, PR-MYW recently came out of storage, but I have not yet been able to confirm whether it's been repainted.

"New" 763ER for LATAM Argentina, to replace LV-CKU that was converted to freighter. CC-CML (28206/694) is to arrive at EZE on 8/20/19 from SCL. The aircraft is not a stranger to Argentina, having operated for LAPA as LV-ZPL and then for Southern Winds as LV-ZYV. Under this reincarnation with LATAM Argentina it will retake is old LV-ZYV registration. C30/Y191 config.

Correction - plane is coming from MEX, not SCL. Arrival has been delayed. ETA @ EZE TBC.

Plane is coming with the new LATAM livery, making it the first 767 in the 4M fleet to sport it.

Have any further repaints taken place?

Especially regarding the newer A320's from Chile. CC-BFT, BFU, BFV, BFW, BFX?

Thanks
