The deal must have been finalized for Boeing to book the order. There could have been some non-financial / deal things that needed to be "finalized" such as agreement to announce order finalization, etc.

Chinese carrier orders are placed via China Aviation Supplies Holding Company (CASC) and are booked as Unidentified by Boeing until such time as CASC assigns them to an airline. So CASC would have placed the order, Boeing booked it as a UFO, and now that CASC has assigned them to Okay Airlines, Boeing moves them from UFO to Okay on their O&D site.

Just 1 firm order for Airbus in November.

ISTANBUL, Dec 21 (Reuters) - Turkish airline Pegasus PGSUS.IS said on Thursday it will exercise its purchase option for 25 additional aircraft under an order placed with Airbus in July 2012 for a total of 100 new planes.

It said in a statement to the Istanbul stock exchange it had reached an agreement with Airbus for the delivery of an additional five Airbus 321 neo aircraft in 2022 and 10 more Airbus A321 neo aircraft in both 2023 and 2024.
