Assuming that date still holds true, looks like her last day of service will be fairly routine based on the routes the other "757" configured birds have flown as their numbers dwindled. Scheduled for ATL-RDU-ATL-MSY-ATL tomorrow.

It will ferry to BYH on the 2nd, I believe it will do a charter just before it leaves.

She may be still flying scheduled flights on Dec 1. DL1634 (an ATL-MSY-ATL rotation) shows the 24 seat 757 config for that date.

Also, assuming that date holds true, there should be no more DL 757s flying without PTVs after tomorrow, correct?

So then just the remainder of the A320s and the 4 73As will need PTVs. Still no plans for the M90s to get AVOD, I would assume...

After that, 3213 will be gone by mid month.

757 ship 633 ferrying ATL-BYH for part out and scrap

https://flightaware.com/live/flight/DAL9931

MD-88 ship 930 also going to BYH for part out and scrap.

https://flightaware.com/live/flight/DAL9932

This leaves 110 MD-88s left and 100 757s left in the fleet.

This has probably been discussed and I missed it but what’s the latest on how long is the 757 scheduled to be with Delta? Also I know Fedex and others have installed a cockpit flat panel upgrade on the 757/767. Has Delta considered that? Thanks.

Some Delta 757's were made in 2004, so I could a good number of 757's still being in the fleet 10 years from now.

777Mech - do you have any idea what 9015 and 907 are doing? It isn't even showing up on FlightAware, makes me think they're in a heavy check or something.

You would be correct. 9015 was parked a couple months ago awaiting space down in QRO for it's check, so you won't see it back in service until sometime in January.

907 is in ATL currently and it'll RTS next week.

I flew an A321 last month ATL-DCA. I believe it was #3021. I was surprised to see a huge chunk of paint missing off the nose. Is there a paint issue or was this a one-off situation? The aircraft is not even a year old.

It depends whether the missing paint was on the radome, or not? Those get swapped out from time to time, so if it was on the radome, then it could have come from an older A321. If not, then a huge chunk of missing paint would be highly unusual on an aircraft only painted about six months ago!

It was on the radome but it was clear the paint had chipped off as it was an uneven patch missing. It was about 40-50% of the radome missing paint. It almost looked like a bird strike or something. I was just surprised to see it on a plane not even a year old.

Makes me wonder with this big NB order coming up why so many early '90s 757's and A320's are still getting mods :? .

Sorry if I've missed something huge here, but all delta A319 size aircraft and above will have setback TVs?! Wow, from a European fliers POV that's incredible.
