UA will be the B/E Aerospace launch customer of the Aspire seat on the 787-10 and A350 and the Meridian seat on the 739MAX. I couldn't find any pictures of what they look like.

Now that UA is selecting seats for the A350, I wonder if the cancellation "rumors" will finally subside?

Do we know how many 787-10, A350 and 739MAX will arrive in 2018? That's a pretty big year for UA tech ops to introduce 3 new units + a pretty comprehensive Polaris, Used Unit Induction and Slimline retro fit program.

Starting winter, IAH base 787 flying will be moved to IAD. 4 IAD routes - CDG, GRU, LHR and PEK will be flown on the 787.
Current IAH 787 flights will be backfilled using 763 and 772 equipment.

N59034 or just 34, has been in 'induction' at SFO since 23rd Mar. That's quite a long time... what's up with that?

I wonder how this will affect DEN-NRT, will it then be rotated through IAD?

This aircraft is scheduled to be released from maintenance on April 9. They have been calling in Cabin and R&E skill overtime to work on it for many days now. If you have access to TOCS 2.0, you can see that there is A LOT of work that goes into getting the airplane ready. SFO can only induct one airplane at a time since there isn't enough hangar space and man power.

A nice selection of flights for IAD. How many units? UA has one new one in Aug and two in Dec, one in Jan, one in Feb so I'm surprised at the need to remove from IAH as they will have lift coming online.
I think we should get used to these changes over the next 18 months with the 77W, 5 78('s, + ? 78J + ? A350 to be delivered between now and the end of 2018.

Not wishing to dispute what you wrote here, but FlightAware says it returned to SFO after just under 3 hours on the ground at IAD on March 20th, and it has never even visited LHR!

As of right now only three are flying passengers between EWR-SFO-HKG. Two more are undergoing UA 'induction' and not flying customers as of yet. Three are in 'temporary storage' at PAE waiting on Polaris seats. Two others are in flight testing (most likely without said seats)

Ok thanks for the update are Newark and San Francisco the only airports with the B77W based there?

Also, I read here that UA was considering a newly designed E+ seat, not just a regular Y seat with extra legroom, but a larger seat, better recline and footrest - any truth to that?

Just MX. No Polaris still in 3-cabin configuration.

I believe they don't plan on starting the 772 retrofits until next year and the 763s were put on hold until UA finishes reviewing its widebody fleet plan. Might hear something about that on the upcoming earnings conference call.
