Correct, no recent painting at GEG. But I reckon it will return soon.

Oh we have A LONG WAY TO GO. I haven't seen exact numbers but I would estimate that 35-40% of the fleet is in the new paint job. I'm guessing that we'll reach about 50% of the fleet by Q12018. Retiring the remaining-300's should start to skew the numbers more in favor of the new livery though since only 3 or 4 received new paint.

Current whole fleet 44.32% 312 out of 704.
Fleet without 737-300 46.92% 312 out of 665.

Photo on the 738MAX production thread shows 3 of the 4 Boeing test aircraft which will enter service with Southwest, now having the first part of the rudder painted [8701-8704] identifying Southwest.

With the 737-700 fleet removed, at least 325 out of 680 aircraft wear the new livery [47.79%]..

N443WN (73G) has new paint. Not sure if that one was previously listed.

Noticed that the google site that covered WN repaints has been down for quite some time now. Bummer.

How many Heart livery -700s with split scimitars are flying around?

An improvement to the livery lists - each change is now noted on the front summary page - recently:
7 November - NEW - N8715Q....MAX
31 October - NEW - N8716B....MAX
30 October - NEW - N8550Q
27 October - NEW IMPORT - N7861J in service
10 October - NEW IMPORT - N7860A in service

...and ex Aerolineas Argentinas LV-CYO has flown to Boeing for conversion to become N7867A.

Qfatwa, do you have any info on the repainting and scimitar work for WN's #1 737-700 N700GS? No recent pics of her on a.net and since I have her saved as one of my top aircraft in my flightaware, I recall she spent some time at PAE a few months back. Maybe that is when she received a new coat or possibly a D-check since she's now 20 years old?

Thanks for any info. #700 is the only WN 73NG I've been on , rest were all 300s and 500s, now sadly retired.

No paint update on my end either, but I'm willing to guess a bird that old will not be getting scimitars.

I’d look for repaints to resume early 2018. As far as Scimitars go, my biggest guess is that any of the 2005+ birds will get them. N700 isn’t going to be one of them.

.... and two more IMPORTS:

January is when the repaints kick back into high gear. It looks like 3 dedicated lines of painting in both Spokane and Victorville with an average of 12 -700’s a month being repainted for the next few months.

Wow, that’s a huge amount planes per month. I wonder how that affects their schedule considering that doesn’t include the planes which are out for maintenance.

Saw her in MDW on 11/27. She was at the next gate from us, still in the older Canyon Blue paint scheme. Still looking good though! It was my first time seeing her since the late 90's (also at MDW) when she was practically brand new. Thinking of the 700's as "old" now makes ME feel old!

More than 90 planes have been painted in the new Heart livery. Lately I've been seeing more of the Heart livery than the Spirit. Also I doub't you're gunna see a "Canyon Blue" retro jet. Eventually only retrojet will be N711HK.
