The developers are aware of these issues and are fixing them as we speak. It shouldn't take too much longer we just need all images to reindex now. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Been getting hit with 502 errors all day and just this past hour alone has been the worst. Took 20 minutes to load the Civ Av forum.

Received a 502, then a 500 internal server error while attempting to search a particular aircraft and even browse through my photo library - 2140 CDT

Thanks for reporting your experiences. The developers continue to work on these issues and have put in place some temporary fixes just now and are hoping they will hold. Please continue to update us here so we can get the developers onto it.

The only "fix" that is needed is for the owner to PAY FOR QUALITY WEB HOSTING. Paying £2.50 per month to a "cloud" hosting outfit that's being run from a kid's bedroom is not going to work no matter how many you get your developers to "tweak" it.

All photos are showing as red x's and every time you try to post it's an endless stream of 502s.

Site is terribly slow once again and 502 errors are coming up intermittently as of 1:27pm EST.

This is honestly starting to get frustrating.

Seems to be running fine as of 8:38pm EST.

Website links in posts weren't working at all and were returning 502 errors but that doesn't seem to be happening anymore.

Better for me today; home page loads lightning fast in Firefox. However, a search brings up a page withing 10 seconds, but no thumbnails. The page keeps trying to complete loading for about another 4 minutes, then stops with no thumbnail images. Same for clicking on the thumbnail (or where an image would be) - page data within 10 seconds, but no images ever load.

Keep waiting. From what I understand (granted I'm a forum moderator, not a photo screener, so this is outside of my purview), they were concerned that some photos they were approving were being lost. There's also scheduled maintenance taking place right now on the screener tools and such, with the aim of fixing that issue, among others. They stopped screening last night to make sure images weren't lost. Just be patient, and hopefully they'll have the issue sorted soon.

Site maintenance is just finishing up which was why you experienced the 502 errors. Now it's over the site should be more stable but please allow some time for everything to index and for the errors to go away

Irony - trying to read the "502 Server Error" thread and getting a 502 error! :banghead:

How much time should we allow "for everything to index and the errors to go away"? Is over10 hours not enough?

Everything looks to be ok so far.

Although it seems that 502s always occur either in the morning or late at night. Like after 7am and 8pm is when problems occur (US East Coast). I never get them in the afternoon. Just a trend that I’ve noticed.

Only 500s for me on the timeframe mentioned above and now many thumbnails missing. Looks like they can't or they don't care to solve the issue....

There was a network issue that affected multiple sites this being a different problem to the one we've been experiencing. We know of the multiple 502 errors and for a period the site was completely down. It's back up now and seemingly working again though the developers have more work to do.

After working allright for some time, it seems the errors are back. Just got a 502 a couple of times.

Same issue, different error message:

Error: Server Error
The server encountered a temporary error and could not complete your request.

Please try again in 30 seconds.

This happened just a few minutes ago, twice in a row. Happens when making a post on the forum, when clicking the submit button you get this error and you don't know if your post has been posted or not. Sometimes it is, sometimes it isn't.
